[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We find this refrigerator to be what we needed. Too deep, could be wider instead.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is doing what it's supposed to be doing with a glitch here and there: eg. It froze a tall jar through and through, 5he jar was in top shelf in the refrigerator section directly under the cooling element, now this space is kept empty; on random days, the freezer section fills with heavy fog. Since the day it was installed, this refrigerator makes so many weird, loud noises, screeching, moaning-noises as if someone else is in the kitchen in pain, chugging, rattling, crawling, flushing, we can hear it from the next room when it makes a loud boom and engine noises as if a plane taking off.
It also "flushes", we're afraid that we'll find puddles on the floor, the concern is that the drip pan is not removable, how to clean it?

Not a money saver
on September 16, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The beat thing about this refrigerator is that there is a lot of room on the door for storage. That being said, it is so.low to the gyround,, anyone over 5 ft will have to bend way down to even see the top shelf. The doors won't close without slamming them. And the freezer door never stays closed, even with hardly anything in it. It's supposed to be an energy efficient appliance, but I don't know how it's going to save us money when the doors are never closed and it is continually running.???

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. It is not unusual on a two-door refrigerator for one door to pop open when the other door is being closed. The refrigerator and freezer sections are connected by air channels to allow air to pass between them. Slamming or vigorously pushing a door shut forces air from one cavity into the other, often pushing the second door open. Our suggestion would be to check the leveling legs. The front of the refrigerator should be slightly higher than the back to allow the door to close normally. When properly adjusted, the door will close smoothly and firmly on its own. In regard to your refrigerator continuously running, your variable speed compressor is designed to run 100% of the time except during the defrost cycle. At times it may even run faster, such as after a defrost cycle. -Corletta

Annoying high pitched compressor noise
on October 6, 2022
Posted by: Chris D P
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it is okay. I got this fridge to replace a very old fridge that was making a high pitched sound whenever the compressor ran. A repairman told me that it was an indication that the compressor was about to fail. My new fridge makes the exact same high pitch sound when the compressor is running. It is loud and very annoying and also runs so much more than I expected a new fridge to run. I am not opening the fridge a lot yet it runs most of the time. I cannot believe that it is more energy efficient running 18-20 hours per day.

Hello, Chris D P. Thank you for your candid feedback. Please know we make every effort to manufacture quality products, and your feedback will not go unnoticed. The sounds you’re noticing indicate your refrigerator is operating as it should. Some surfaces on floors, walls, kitchen cabinets, or open kitchen plans may make these noises more noticeable. For further details about the type of sounds your refrigerator may produce, please watch this short video (https://www.frigidaire.com/Owner-Center/How-to-Videos/Refrigeration/Top-Mount-Refrigerator-Noises/). Lastly, your appliance is equipped with a low energy consumption fan and compressor, so it may run a lot more, which is normal. Should you have any additional questions, please reach out via Live Chat! We’ll be happy to help! -Derrick
