[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well I wish the installers would have made sure the door closed. Evidently the plastic insulated edge wasn't straight and the freezer didn't close all the way. We didn't notice it for FIVE days!!!!!!! This type of freezer never really does latch close. You just push it closed. So if something is sticking out the door won't close even if you pushed on it. Hope this makes sense. I wish we'd bought one that had a latch you could hear it close.

The Best I've Ever Had!

Frigidaire is a well known and long time manufacturing company, but this is my first Frigidaire appliance purchase, and I am very pleased with the way it keeps my fruits and vegetables fresh with the temperature controlled bottom drawers. Too Loud!

Had to replace a perfectly good GE refrigerator after 28 years. The only issue was the drain from the freezer which would freeze and cause water to drain into the refrigerator. After we cleaned it out once, it didn't quite settle back into place and recently learned that it completely broke in two. Should have just called for repair and replacement but after 28 years, felt it was time to just get a new one. I struggled for months, looking at various makes and models. Was quite hard to find anything that would fit the opening and provide the same space/features. We settled on this one because of the size and features, and the fact that it didn't have handles, which was another major issue with the newer models not being cabinet depth. Ever since it arrived, it has made so much more noise. It's the first thing I hear when I walk downstairs or through the back door into the house if it's running. I get that it might run more than my old one to cool more efficiently, but my old standby never made noise like this. Looked at the manual regarding noise, but nothing in there like what I'm hearing. The compressor sound is obvious and could be bearable, but there's an obnoxious vibration/rattling sound. Even my husband keeps talking about it whenever we're sitting in the dining room trying to enjoy a quiet dinner. NOT! Not sure if there's anything that can be done, if I just got a lemon, but for now, not giving it much praise. Plus the freezer is much smaller than what I had but for some reason the door is taller so to get items on the top shelf of the refrigerator, you have to bend down quite a bit. Overall, frustrated.
