[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our Jenn-Air electric cooktop with this Kitchenaid induction cooktop. We knew there would be a learning curve with induction, and it really hasn't taken too long. The performance of this cooktop has been really good. It brings water to a boil so quickly, and its response to changes to temperature settings is immediate and precise. We like not having to clean around and under knobs with the touch controls, but they have been a problem. First, we don't know if the controls have difficulty sensing cold or dry fingers, if there is a sensitivity issue, or some other reason, but it is not uncommon to repeatedly touch them and not get any response. That is frustrating. Secondly, each burner is controlled by a linear touch scale, 1 to 18, with a series of dashes representing even number settings, and the spaces between them representing odd. It is hard to hit on the number you want the first time. You can aim for where you think "8" is, or example, and it may come up "7" or it may read "10". Then you press again and again until it finally senses that you touched "8". We don't care for the buzzing that we hear with certain cookware, but thankfully it seems to occur mostly with wide temperature setting changes. After the cookware temperature actually changes, the noise slowly goes away. Cleanup has been easy, due in part to our choice to cook on paper towels to catch splatters and reduce scratching. Ideally, we would have liked to have had two large burners, but it only comes with one that is right in the center. The excellent performance of this cooktop has outweighed our dislike for the controls.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed and I t’s so comfortable and easy to use, even for everyday cooking. The 5 cooking zones give plenty of space, so I can cook multiple dishes at the same time without feeling crowded. It heats quickly and feels very precise, which makes cooking smoother and more enjoyable. The sleek design also looks beautiful in the kitchen and is easy to clean. Such a great upgrade if you love efficient and stress-free cooking!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sorry we had to replace previous KitchenAid induction cooktop that didn't shut itself off when overheating. Hope this one doesn't have the same flaw.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like the speed at which temperature is attained and controlled. We also like the ease at which the cooktop can be cleaned. Control lights are too dim. Should be brighter and more prominent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kitchen is beautiful, modern, and functional. It has five cooking zones, which saves me so much time in the kitchen. It's super easy to clean and has a sleek, modern design that adds a special touch to my kitchen. It's easy to install and made with very durable materials. I absolutely love it and recommend it 100%.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will update this review in the future (maybe). Unit was installed and looks good. Operation started off very flaky and then got worse. I had a service call and the control board and a burner are bad. Part ordered and will take two weeks. The is over the Thanksgiving holiday when I have 30 people at my house for dinner. To say this was an inconvenience would be an understatement. Should have just kept the old cooktop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the induction cooktop. Cooking with this type of energy is fantastic. I love the extra burner that I get with the bridge. There are just a few glitches with it as I get used to it. I sometimes turns off instead of staying on and the middle burner is more sensitive in how it turns on.
