Powerful and Smart Safety Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop is overall very good and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cooktop. It has a sleek, modern design that looks great in any kitchen. I'm currently remodeling my kitchen and am excited that I don't have to worry about it matching the walls, countertop, or other appliances. It has a powerful performance, especially with the “Power Boost” mode. I found that it heats my pans quickly and boils my water quickly and in under 10 minutes. It also has convenient simmer and melt settings for delicate cooking. For cleanup, it is very easy to clean; the surface wipes down quickly and easily and it does not leave smear marks. I also like that it has minimal heat transfer outside the induction zone — the cooktop stays cool to the touch except directly under the cookware. The safety features were also nice. It only produces heat when an induction-compatible pan or pot is detected, which adds an extra layer of safety, and it has an auto shut-off feature after no use to prevent accidents. The cooktop’s ability to rapidly boil water is impressive, and the control settings are intuitive. The fact that it drops to level 18 after the 10-minute Power mode ends, instead of shutting off entirely, is a thoughtful touch that keeps cooking seamless. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in a cooktop.

I am absolutely delighted with my new cooktop by KitchenAid. My old electric fooktop was over 20 years old and it was just an old reliable but definitely losing functionality and fresh design. This new 30" induction cooktop is magical. The amount of new functions and flexibility is impressive.
Firstly, the modern black glass design is beautiful. My boring kitchen literally jumped into the 21st century.

I love the Temp Cook™ Induction Technology on 3 out of 5 modes, which maintains the specific temperature set for precision beyond high, medium, and low settings.
Temp Cook™ Smart Presets help me sear a steak, simmer soups, quickly boil water for tea, and saute dinner veggies. The squared shape Even-Heat™ Zone adds versatility to cook with large pans like griddles or two pans at once.
I downloaded the KitchenAid app for more control and added setting assistance.
I can't tell you how quickly my food comes together...the induction technology boils eggs in such a short time, and everything just comes together smoother.

The cleaning is a breeze...just wipe and i never had baked on spots to scrub. Additionally,... safety feature shows when the surface is HOT.
I am actually excited to cook more for my family and experiment with new recipes.
My shout out to the installation team who hauled away my old top and expertly put the new one in.
It did take us time to get started only because the touch controls are unique. PLUS, some of my pots and pans were not compatible with such new induction methods. So fyi.... make sure your pots and pans are enameled steel, cast iron, or stainless steel for induction cooktops.

Love this induction cooktop!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love cooking on this cooktop. I grew up learning to cook on an old school electric stove and this is worlds of difference. I’ve been in love with gas ranges but we decided to try an induction cooktop. The burners heat up so quickly and cook evenly. I love that it also doesn’t heat up my whole kitchen like a gas ranges does. Makes cooking in the summer months less miserable inside. This was also so amazingly easy to clean, I couldn’t believe it. I would spend so much time scrubbing my gas cooktop and being grossed out. Honestly, this was an eye opening product for me.

Perfect to modernize your kitchen

My goal was always to have a cooktop in my island, and this was the perfect fit. Most of my other appliances are already KitchenAid, so I knew I’d love it—and it performs just as expected. It heats quickly, cleans easily, and makes my kitchen upgrade look even better.

Great one to have specially with younger kids

It is easy to maintain and clean , safe to use even with young kids and well built . Cooking is very easy , the food gets cooked fairly quickly which is a great plus point for me , Would highly recommend it .

Not happy!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had kitchenaid appliances for over 20 years. I’m not at all happy with my new cooktop, double oven or dishwasher. $10,000 worth of appliances I’m stuck with. Couldn’t even get shiny black. Had to pay extra for black stainless which is really grey. And all these touch controls are just an excuse for too many fingerprints. Bring back knobs on the right bottom corner. The cooktop layout of burners and controls is a disaster. With the controls placed in the center, it makes the pots too far of a reach to stir. Boiling water in one pot is too close to stir the pot next to it without getting burned by steam.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
