As a computer it works mostly as it should. There are quirks that are not easily changed. Num-lock will not stay on if computer shuts down. The adds for HP stuff is dumb, and even "turned off" is still there.

Great laptop overall, but it desperately needs a built-in software option in HP software to limit maximum battery charge percentage (e.g., to 80%) for better battery health when plugged in for long hours. Please add this feature via an update.

It does everything i need it to do and more. I'm very happy with it. I can attach hard drives to keep the laptop's storage down. I wish it had a DVD player. They all used to. What changed? I've heard many people decry having to have another attachment to carry around when they travel. But on the whole, this baby was a great choice!
