Very nice to build. Directions were clear and helpful and the little Lego tool that came with the set was very helpful

This one was a hit with the whole family, including non-Lego enthusiast husband. Building collaboratively with the LEGO builder app via party mode was awesome and made for a fun almost-screen-free family quality time activity.

Super satisfying build

This was in no means the most difficult build I've done, but it's definitely one of the most satisfying. The fact that the Ravage and Laserbeak transform into cassettes and fit into Soundwave (1 at a time) is amazing to me. This is easily the best transformer out of the 3 they have so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The set captures perfectly what G1 Soundwave is supposed to be and his casseticons, which I would've never thought that they would make their Brick-Built appearance. The building experience is amazing and the end result even better. LEGO knocked it out of the park with the sound brick. Soundwave is indeed Superior!

Multiple pieces missing from bag 8, integral ones I could not replace on my own. An unprecedented amount, more than I’ve ever seen rendering it UNBUILDABLE on bag 8-12. It’s a rare occurrence but this is unacceptable.
