This captures Soundwave incredibly well in Lego form. And we get two additional Decepticons with the tapes. The tape deck opening feels exactly as it should. The leg engineering is brilliant, with the folding panels as the foot lowers. The head sculpt is spot on. It’s a wonderful set for G1 Transformer fans.

Love this build. Love the soundbrick. Lazerbeak was amazing. Ravage was a little disappointing considering how good Lazerbeak was but he is still good.

Definitely one of my top 10 Transformers. I was excited when this set was announced. Building it brought back a ton of memories as a child watching the cartoon and playing with the different charaters. The instructions are easy to follow and the way they even included Ravage and Lazerbeak was a nice touch. The fact the can even fit inside Soundwave in cassette form was an added bonus!

I absolutely love everything about this set. Soundwave comes with both yellow and red eyes and the voice box is a great touch. The rush of nostalgia as I put this set together was amazing. The only negative was the instruction book. The steps were easy to follow but the dark gray, glossy pages, with the super dark colored bricks made it a bit of challenge at times. That's the only negative I have.
