I highly recommend this grill. Awesome Weber quality, easy cleanup, and grill is ready to go in minutes. I would purchase again. I prefer charcoal when time permits, however I do enjoy using this gas grill.

The burner lighters are very problematic to ignite the gas. Each time I use the grill I must try and retry the igniters.

I haven't had that much time with the unit yet so maybe once I'm used to the grill I'll have a different opinion. I'm currently using the griddle insert for the Spirit. I love that, plenty of space and pretty decent to clean. I wish the grill itself was wider. Given it's a 4 burner grill, I would like more grate space so that it is truly a 50-50 split between sq ft for grill and sq ft for the griddle. The temperature gauge doesnt seem to work that well either. I end up using a temperature gun to gauge the temp on both the griddle and the grill.

Very difficult to maneuver. Old one had 4 wheels and could move easily. This is heavy and I can't move it out from under the patio without a lot of effort. Awkward!! Why take away the other wheels?

This grill perfectly fits our needs, large enough to prepare items for a larger gathering yet compact enough to serve my wife and I alone. Even heat throughout takes the guesswork out of moving the food to different areas of the grate for even grilling, something I had to perfect (with little success) on our previous unit. The Genesis series was a bit too expensive for our tastes so but this Spirit perfectly fit the bill and grills the food just as well.
