It's a nice size. Easy to use. I like that the propane tank is hidden. It would be better if it came with a guage for the propane level like the last BBQ that we owned.
The grease management pan drain need to be redesign or a panel need to place on the back to prevent children sticking their hands in a greasy pan or dogs putting their nose/paws in the grease pan
The grill is great! It was easy to set up and use. It cooks the food perfectly! My old grill literally fell apart and I had not been able to grill for quite a while. I will always stick with Weber!!
When I found out our new home that we purchased has a natural gas line outside I decided to go with a gas barbecue instead of my usual charcoal grill. It’s a learning curve for me, but I think this is a really nice one. I’ve cooked ribs, chicken steak, etc. and Saule turned out pretty well.
Our previous Weber grill lasted more than 20 years and was easy to use. It had a handy push-button starter. We were debating whether to purchase a Genesis or a Spirit as a replacement and ultimately settled on the Spirit because of the cost. The Spirit is harder to light. Unless you see the flame immediately upon turning one of the knobs, there seems to be no way to determine if the burner is actually lit outside of placing your hand over the open grill. And they don't light consistently. The Spirit does not seem to retain heat as well as our old grill and the handle gets hot to the touch. Given the price of the grill, it should come with four casters to make it easier to move. It's still early, but so far we are not impressed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
