When I found out our new home that we purchased has a natural gas line outside I decided to go with a gas barbecue instead of my usual charcoal grill. It’s a learning curve for me, but I think this is a really nice one. I’ve cooked ribs, chicken steak, etc. and Saule turned out pretty well.
Flames stay very low even on high. Replaced bottle and regulator
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The burners all take too long to turn on. The stainless steel still stains even though I use a cover and the Weber stainless steel cleaner. The grill grates rust even though I season it. It does everything it should not even though I maintain it properly.

Our previous Weber grill lasted more than 20 years and was easy to use. It had a handy push-button starter. We were debating whether to purchase a Genesis or a Spirit as a replacement and ultimately settled on the Spirit because of the cost. The Spirit is harder to light. Unless you see the flame immediately upon turning one of the knobs, there seems to be no way to determine if the burner is actually lit outside of placing your hand over the open grill. And they don't light consistently. The Spirit does not seem to retain heat as well as our old grill and the handle gets hot to the touch. Given the price of the grill, it should come with four casters to make it easier to move. It's still early, but so far we are not impressed.

I think this this product is made like crap. The product rested within a month and a half when we called your customer service. They are absolutely awful. They sent us out a product to try and correct and take the rest away. It didn’t work so we proceeded to call them back we were hung up on several times spoke to somebody. He was extremely nasty and rude and told us they would not replace the grill and refused to put us on with the supervisor when I’m really upset about is that we paid all this money for this girl and why would we have done this? If the product wasn’t gonna hold up to its name then we would’ve bought something from a different vendor at a much cheaper price extremely upset and Weber doesn’t care. I am actually shocked with their customer service.
