Instructions are not clear at all. One of the burners only turns on intermittently and support tried to tell me that my gas hookup was not correct….I was sent a new manifold under warranty, but that would require me to disassemble the unit to replace it. Not happy considering it didn’t work perfectly right out of the box.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve been a long term, 30+ year, Weber loyalist. I just purchased a new Spirit E-425 and gave my more experienced Weber grill to my son who recently moved into his own place. First impressions of the Spirit E-425 are very positive.
This is our second Weber ... the first worked for 12 years with two repairs required. We live on the west coast and BBQ 3-4 times a week year round. Weber BBQs are easy to use and reliable. Apart from bruising the grill little maintenance is required apart from a quarterly cleaning (brush and shop vac) of the body.
This grill is really well built and sturdy. The controls are accurate and heat seems pretty even across the surface so food is evenly cooked. Glad we went with the four burner even though most of the time there are just two of us easy to spread different foods across the surface and cook our entire meal without crowding with different heat zones. Plenty of room for cooking when having a multiple guests.
