Purchased this Spirit for our AirBnb in Utah. I was the first to use it and it did work fine. At home I have a Genesis E-325. If you can spend a little more money to buy the Genesis, I highly recommend that you do. The Spirit is just not the quality of the Genesis. My opinion is that one doesn't need to spend that much money on this Weber. Time will tell how long it last .

Stopped working after 2nd time using it. Turns out I need a new regulator and they told me it would be sent next business day. 2 weeks went by and I emailed to see if there was a problem. Only then was I informed that they don't have one in stock. They don't have a regulator in stock for a Spirit Grill?? Seems very unlikely. Also, you would think I would have gotten a notification instead of waiting for ME to ask about it. This grill is nothing special. Quality and feel seems no different that grills almost half the cost. I thought I was "upgrading" with a Weber, but I'm not sure now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
