A very solid grill. Used it 10x now and haven't had any issues. It heats up fast and cooks evenly. The one feature i miss from my last Weber is the indicator that you hang the propane tank on to give you a rough estimate of how much propane is remaining in the tank. And, i will say that the black hose that connects the propane tank to the grill appears to be too flimsy and has a kink in it right next to the regulator. Hasn't been a problem yet, but i could see this being a failure point.
The Spirit 425 is well built and gives consistent heat. As I heard/read the thermometer on the hood is not there all the time. Should definitely purchase a separate thermometer. Otherwise, love the grill!
This grill is a mean cooking machine. The burners are top of the line and heat up quick to temperature. Easy clean up with the drip pan. I personally love the sear portion of this grill. Best buy for the money. I love the fact Weber warranties their products. My only complaint is the plastic wheels. Prior models utilized better quality wheels.
My last Weber lasted 15 years. I replaced the burners once and the flavor bars several times. The grill is used at the least 4 times a week, year-round. Weber has a fantastic grill.
