My parents only bought Weber and that's my "go to" for grilling too. They last for many years and are consistently reliable. The only reason I had to purchase a new gas grill this time was because I moved and had to leave the old one behind. Even the Weber charcoal grills that I grew up with are a solid purchase - I still have my mini grill.

Ok grill, but the non-battery "spark" ignition system is horrible. It takes multiple tries every time to start ... I have taken to using a lighter to start it. Also the grease drip system is small by about a half inch, so it slides around and doesn't cover the whole area (as I found grease dripping down into the compartment below). Disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my second Weber in over 15 years and am once again enjoying its grilling performance. Only reason I gave my E-425 four stars was because it didn’t come with 4 caster type wheels. It would just make it easier to maneuver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this grill! First this thing looks so nice. I love how they actually made a closed bottom with a door for the tank and grease trap. It really makes it easy to maintain. All 4 of the burner rails have their own separate lighting system so it fires up very quickly and easily. I also love how the right side has a searing feature where you can turn it past 100% and it makes it extra hot to sear your meat and lock in the flavor. They designed it with a Flavor bar. So when your meat is grilling when the juice hits the bars it makes rich flavorful smoke that really adds to the flavor. I have had several different grills but I think it’s Weber for life for me.
