I bought this grill back in November and please with how it preform. Shortly after I put it together the coating came off the right side table and now is rusty.
This compact 4 burner is a beast. Gets to temp fast, and maintains. Recovers fast as well. Searing side is as advertised. Looking forward to many years of consistent cooking.
Had a 20 year old Genisis that needed to finally be replace - new parts just weren't cutting it anymore. Love our new Spirit - hope we get another 20 years out of our new grill.
One negative about this Grill is that it does not tell you how much gas is left in the tank. My old Weber Grill we used to hang the tank on the outside of the grill and it would weigh the content of the tank and let us know when it was near empty. The E-425 which we just purchased does not tell us how much gas is left in a tank. So I have to pick it and guess how much gas is left.
An average grill. The griddle cannot be uses without an additional purchase of a support system that they don't tell you about until after you buy their flat top. additionally, I wanted a rotisserie for my Webber. Researching the correct one for use on the E-425 was a nightmare. I finally received some help from the call center and ordered what they said was the correct kit. After installing the kit, which was easy, I tried to roast a 4 lb chicken. I found that the grill lid would not close properly. The lid set directly on the rotisserie spike. The motor mounting bracket was not the same as the one shown in all of the videos. The motor itself was very loose on the bracket and would shift to one side when the motor was switched on. The rotisserie kit is useless as designed. I put the chicken in a cast iron skillet and finished it in the oven.
As far as grilling goes, this Webber works well. steaks on the grill are great, switch to the flat top and burgers turn out well. As in any grill there are hot and cold spots the one learns thru use.
Recommend a more through research than what I did before you buy this grill. Know what features you want or expect to come with the grill, price them out and see if it is worth it to you. I really expected better from Webber

It doesn’t work. It doesn’t light or stay lite. I’ve owned it for a month now and Weber has done nothing but drag their feet to get this resolved. I’ll never purchase another Weber product

The burners do not put out enough propane to heat the food properly
