[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently I purchased the DLGX4001W Turbosteam Gas Dryer. This dryer replaced a 15 year old LG gas dryer. The old dryer still worked (which is a testament to the quality of LG). I replaced it because I wanted it to match my new washer. The updates are really nice especially the wifi enabled feature. This was quite a challenge to set up, I had to have my geek friends help. They had to set up a 2.4 gigahertz wifi as this didn't seem to want to work with the 5 gigahertz wifi. I really enjoy using this feature as it notifies me when the load is done. This really frees me up to do other things without forgetting about the clothes in the dryer. I also like the digital panel. I tried the steam part of the dryer on a shirt and it came out wet, so perhaps I don't understand how to use it. In general I like the new dryer and feel it's a significant upgrade to my old one.

For the price, I was shocked this dryer didn't come with the inside Dryer Rack. Also, not sure if it was suppose to or not, but ours didn't come with the water hoses that you are suppose to use to hook it up! I was also shocked on this! Another trip the store and was unexpected. Overall, I like the dryer, but it seems LG is finding ways to cut corners! I just hope this doesn't mean quality is going to be down as well!
