Great dryer

After researching the reviews, we decided on this one. It has performed wonderfully well for us and we love it! Lots of choices for settings too.

Not so hot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It takes longer to dry clothes than my previous LG. I also miss the timed dry? And why does the interior light not stay on when the door is open?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this dryer for about a month and have easily learned our way around the options, I was a bit intimidated at first. I'm a fan of the little song it plays when my load is done. All my laundry easily fits, including our king comforter. We can get our girls' cloths done in one load! I have noticed that when I set it to "normal" dry it does leave some items slightly damp. I know a lot of people prefer this, so items don't shrink, but I am used to drying my items all the way dry. When this happens I just do the timed dry at 20 minutes and it takes care of any damp items. I've also had the opportunity to use the steam function. I can say it definitely works as an assistant to getting wrinkles out! I had a badly wrinkled cardigan, I tossed it in the dryer on steam and I was impressed how it came out. You will need to let the steam function run its full course to see results. The unit is VERY quiet. I leave the laundry room door open and the sound doesn't interfere or overwhelm us, like our old dryer. I am really happy with this dryer and I look forward to trying out even more features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this LG gas dryer and matched washer 3 weeks ago when our 15 year old Kenmore Elite dryer failed & parts were no longer available. Dryer works well after I mastered the learning curve & am pleased with the various options...adjustable heat, adjustable dryness levels, etc. Clothes come out dry & wrinkle free. Must say the directions that come with the dryer could be improved. The instructions for connecting the WiFi feature are NOT accurate & NOT doable. Will need to call LG direct to accomplish connecting the WiFi feature. Would not purchase if you have a need for the Wi Fi remote operation feature.
