So far, I love my new washer. I've only used it for four months so I don't know about reliability yet. Our clothes are cleaner than with the old agitator washer. It has many options for washing the clothes, so it's taken a little while to figure out which option for each of our type of clothes. Once figured out, it's so convenient and easy. I really like the Allergiene mode, I use it for our sheets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dryer to pair with the new washer I purchased to replace a 13 year old LG washer that died. Overall I am pleased with the dryer. The sensor drying cycles can sometimes leave the clothes a bit damp or a bit over dried. The anti-static option, which injects steam into the drum a few minutes before the end of the cycle, is pretty useless. While it does inject steam, it also splatters water on the clothes so you end up with big wet spots on the otherwise dry clothes. My 13 year old dryer it replaced also this issue. I had hoped over 13 years that LG would have addressed this design flaw, but apparently not. It would also be nice if the ThinQ app would allow me to create a custom cycle to download instead of just allowing a download from a predefined list of cycles.

I'm mostly happy with this product. because I'm blind, I love that I can use the app to help me select the cycle I need. However, I wish the Remote Start button was as easy to find on the dryer as it is on the washer. Also, a couple of the dryer's features aren't working properly. The normal cycle doesn't run rthe length of time indicated by the app, and when it's through it makes a sound that sounds like an error signal, although the app doesn't indicate any problems. Also, the timed dry feature isn't working right either. The dryer just runs for a short while, no matter how much time it's actually set to run. and the timed dry is impossible to set up in the app, which is the way I need to do it.

After the initial 2 weeks post delivery of my new LG washer and dryer, I am happy to say that I made a superior purchase decision. I recommend this LG washer and dryer set. The details below.
The Pros:
- Many choices for cycles, amount of dryness, temp, etc.
- Capacity is large.
- Runs whisper quiet.
- Clothes came out soft, fluffy, and properly dried.
- The load complete notification chime sounds like an ice cream truck. Silly? Yes, but I love hearing it! Haha.

The Cons:
- So many choices; maybe too many choices! And if you want to deviate from the preset defaults, you can, but it's lots of tapping each individual setting on the LED screen. Time consuming! I wish there was a memory function where I could program my "normal" settings and then recall it with 1-button press.
- The LED screen is very small font and not overly lit. If you're older or sight impaired, be advised. I need my reading glasses and a flashlight to choose my combinations of the many options. Someday, I'll have it memorized, hopefully.
- The units are big... measure your space accurately for fit (I did so all good). Be aware that if you're shorter (I'm 5'1"), reaching over the units is a stretch!
