[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG unit replaced a Fisher & Paykel (no longer made with the same high capacity). We have been very, very disappointed in the slowness and incompleteness of the various drying cycles. In LG's quest for energy efficiency, it has manufactured a lesser product for a higher price. The light inside goes off prematurely after it is open. The touchpad with so many complicated settings will likely fail prematurely because electronics and heat do not harmoniously live together; much better to have dials and switches. The positioning of the control pad is made for people of short stature, not tall people who must hunch over to read and program the needed buttons.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the LG dryer and had a door switch that was intermittent. Had it replaced and the second one has the same issue. Put in a service request and nothing yet for two weeks. However, I taped the switch closed and was able to use the dryer. After serveral days of use, the switch started working consistently????? Really wish we could adjust the temp setting using the sensor settings. Dryer is still working but no service follow up yet.

i like the wifi feature, first smart appliance i have owned. it dries the loads well. it looks nice. the installers did not reverse the doors, so i have stacked w/d that open opposite ways. i will figure this out someday.
