LG must stand for 'Low Grade'

Poorly assembled screws that should be removable are tightened so tight they strip instead of coming out. Which puts stress on the cheap piece of plastic causing it to crack.

LG Dryer Filter Tore After Just a Couple of Uses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m disappointed with the quality of the LG dryer filter. After only a few uses, the filter has already torn. For a product from such a reputable brand, I expected better durability. It’s frustrating to deal with this issue so soon, and I hope LG will take this into account to improve the quality of their components in the future

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The second day I used my dryer it started making loud "banding" noise upon start up. It last approximately 10-15 minutes. It continues to this day and I've had it for five weeks. This is terrible for the price I paid!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this dryer a month ago (Feb 24) being excited to have a new dryer (not 20+ years old) with so many new features. With a new dryer comes new sounds/smells. Well on May 8th the dryer blew up due to improper installation. Currently I have been without a replacement or a date to when I will receive a replacement. This has given me a very poor experience as I haven’t been able to test all the new features this dryer offers. This cause my entire house to lose power by tripping the main 200amp breaker and almost setting the wall on fire. If it can’t be installed correctly can’t say I recommend the product.

But this a new construction plus we have checked for any blockages. What I think is the dryer blower not strong enough to vent out.

Dryer has 1 job. Can't do it.

This dryer looks nice and has satisfying controls, but the dryer sensor doesn't work and it cuts off before completely drying a load. So instead of nice clean laundry, we have to contend with damp, mildewy surprise. It shouldn't be that hard to create a dryer that actually dries clothes.
