[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to replace my 11-year-old LG dryer and chose another LG. We've had it for a few weeks and it works wonderfully and is reasonably quiet.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dryer out performs expectations with ease of use. Drys even comforters in once cycle, love the steam clean feature, and i know this sounds silly, but love the cheery chimes to let you know load is done….. like the app the also lets me know when cycle is done…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had this dryer a few weeks and already love the LG ThinQ smart phone features. We've used the TurboSteam feature once after leaving clothes in the dryer overnite. Worked well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a very old dryer with this one and stacked it to save on space. The numerous setting options and intergratio with the Thinq App are really great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second LG Washer! We inherited one that was about 7+ years old when we got it. So it had to have lasted at min 15 Years which is awesome. This NEW ONE IS PHEMONOMAL. I'm so happy we were able to get another LG. We picked up the matching Dryer too (Although our older LG Dryer was working fine however we had to make them Match...LOL)
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Performance, Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer was purchased to replace our 2011 DLGX3876V. Although very similar in features, the DLGX4001B does dry faster and the dryness sensor is more accurate. We chose LG again because of its continued lead in reliability and performance over other brands. One thing was not improved upon was to backlight the control settings. They are very hard to read except in bright room light. I also wish that on a dryer of this class that the display screen was LED rather than of the segmented type. Certain numbers and letters can be hard to read on this display. Finally, the steam function on this new dryer uses plumbed water instead of a user-fillable water tank. I have some concerns about using plumbed water, even softened, versus filling the tank with distilled water. Hopefully mineral buildup won't be an issue. Three quibbles on an otherwise excellent dryer.
