Our dryer gave up after a mere 23 years and this one was recommended by the salesman. We were going to buy the brand that matches our washing machine (not 23 years old!) but we somewhat reluctantly went with his suggestion and we are so happy about it! We love this dryer. Comparing it with the other brand we noted that simple things like the lint basket were of notably higher quality and significantly more functional. This dryer gets our laundry fluffy and dry but I also love the app and the ability to set many different settings not available on the dryer proper. The ability to use the smart app to diagnose any potential problems is also a huge plus and I was impressed that when I sent a question via the app I not only got suggestions for FAQs but also an actual response to my specific question. Love everything about it and will definitely go with LG in the future.

I bought this dryer along with the matching washer a little over a month ago. Am very very happy with both units!! I had them stacked in my utility room to reclaim some room and although I need a step stool to reach the controls and remove the clothes, I LOVE these! Its perfect how the lint screen is right is front and fairly easy to remove and replace. The dryer has a light that stays on for a short while so you can be sure to remove all the clothes and the units chime when they are complete!! It was so funny, the first few times after either the washer or dryer had completed its cycle, and the unit chimed, my dogs started barking at it!!! Its pretty funny. Anyway, I would highly recommend the unit!
