Pretty happy with it, but the sensor is not super accurate. The dryer will shut off while clothes are still damp because the sensor thinks they’re dry. I’ve been using the manual function to avoid this.

Dryers that don't dry

I can only agree with most of the reviews on this list. The dryers are pretty much useless. We called the service line we got told to reset the dryer and use it only on the speed dry setting
and it worked for a few times, but it takes two or three hours plus times to dry. As a general contractor i see a lot of different systems
and LG has been the worse product I have come seen and will try and discourage anyone from purchasing.

If your LG dryer is taking too long to dry your clothes or your dryer is not heating properly, this is likely due to a blockage to the dryer's airflow. Blockages can be caused by an obstruction in the duct work or lint build up on your air filter. Please make sure your lint filters are clean and free of any debris. Please start your dryer on a normal cycle. Next, go outside where the dryer is vented and ensure the airflow is adequate. If there is weak/ no airflow, there might be a restriction that needs to be removed. Are you receiving an error code? I purchased this LG DLEX4000W dryer to replace an existing dryer. My expectations were that this new dryer would take several cycles to thoroughly dry a full load. Was I surprised. This dryer is clearly superior to my old dryer as all of our clothes were dry after running it just one cycle. I no longer need to use the time dry cycle and run multiple cycles. I can rely on the dryer's sensor technology to know when the clothes are dry.
