Two-way Conversation Does Not Function

I typically don't leave reviews, but apparently this is the only way to get product support. Thr two-way conversation feature is non-functional. The volume at the camera is barely audible, and I do mean 'barely'. I tried two different phones. Also, any Internet configuration with "5G" in its name will be deemed unsupported, so if you are trying to use your phone mobile hotspot, you may need to reconfigure it with a modified name. The only difference between the outdoor camera and the indoor camera appears to be the power supply. That's quite an additional expense for a bulky, water-resistant power supply. 5 GHz is unsupported. I'm disappointed with roku. I expected better. I have 8 Merkury cameras and have not had any trouble with them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Regarding your connection, you'll want to ensure that your Smart Home products are connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network rather than a 5 GHz network.
We also have a few tips that may help your two-way audio. First, power cycling your camera will soft reset your device and reset the connections. This can frequently resolve issues like yours. Next, temporarily move the camera closer to your Wi-Fi router. If your audio is improving, it could be indicative of a connectivity issue. Lastly, speaking too closely into your phone's mic may distorted the audio. You may try backing off to about 10-12 inches and speak in a fairly soft voice to see if this makes a difference.

Can't view recordings without removing sd card from camera, not even with paid subscription. Good video quality though.

Easy set up-clear videos

Just received the 2-indoor camera pack. Was hesitant to order due to people saying it wouldn't connect to wifi, no notices of movement, but my cat walked in the room and there was no hesitation in notification. We hoped it would work facing outside to view our vehicles (we live in an apt) and the picture is as clear as the living room. May change star rating after having it on while we are not home. So far, glad to have purchased and even more happy about the cost.

I NOW OWN 7 OF THESE CAMERAS. AFTER THE FIRST THREE I STARTED BUYING ADDITIONAL ONES EITHER TO USE OR GIVE AWAY TO OTHERS. I THINK THE MINUTE-BY-MINUTE FILING SYSTEM ON THE MICRO SD CARD IS GREAT AND IF AN OWNER DOES NOT WISH TO SUBSCRIBE TO THE CLOUD STORAGE AND SERVICE OPTION, IT ALSO WORKS WELL. I HAVE BEEN LEANING TOWARDS THE SUBSCRIPTION FOR THE ADDITIONAL FEATURES OFFERED - SEARCH RECORDINGS BY CONTENT, A FEATURE THAT I THINK IS AWESOME AND WHEN CLOUD VIDEO / LIVE FEED SHARING BECOMES AN OPTION FOR FAMILY ROKU USERS, I'M PRETTY SURE I WILL SUBSCRIBE. I RECOMMENDED THESE CAMERAS TO ALL OF MY COWORKERS AND DEMONSTRATED THE FEATURES. YOU CANNOT GO WRONG FOR THE EASE OF SETUP, THE VALUE FOR FEATURES INCLUDED. I EVEN USE THEM FOR DASH CAMS IN OUR CAR.

Got this to monitor my mom before she moved in with me and it has worked great. We were about an hr and a half away from her and this gave me thw peace of mind that she was ok. We now use it in her room to make sure she is ok at nights and it has been a life saver. This has taken the weight off of my shoulders. the picture quality is amazing and sound are amazing. The talking option is a little laggy and cuts off the sound from where the camera is but over all great for the price.

Mom with dementia, works great!

I use these to keep an eye on my mom who has dementia. Sometimes she'll get into trouble or do silly things like climb up onto an end table to put something up high. I'm terrified she'll fall and hurt herself while I'm at work and be stuck there, so I installed these. They've helped me keep an eye on her and know when I need to intervene with her independent lifestyle.
