Home Unprotected after Firmware Update

I have had these cameras for over a year with limited issues. The last firmware update, 11/1/23, 3.0.2.7095, has left my home with the inability of the cameras to notify me when there is movement or sound. I literally had to spend my night buying a different product and programming and installation. I am beyond frustrated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used this camera outdoors despite it being an indoor camera. It has served me well for going on 3 years no without being taken off the house it has braved Northern New England winters no problem. I would buy another.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Camera is no good if you want to record anything

Camera will not record any activity unless you pay for a subscription service. Even if you put your own SD card in the camera, it still will not record to the SD card unless you pay a fee it will only take one snapshot of whatever is happening if you want to do live view on your camera it is fine, good camera for that purpose, but I feel if I pay for my own SD card, then I should be able to record directly to that, without paying a fee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please know that when using a MicroSD card all recordings can be viewed for free without a paid subscription. While some of these recordings can be viewed directly from the Roku Smart Home mobile app, you can view all of your recordings by removing the micro SD card and connecting it to your computer or laptop. Missing a key feature

In-app playback of video captured to the SD card is not available on the Roku app. To see video stored on the Roku device you have to remove the card from the camera and move it to your computer. This makes it very inconvenient to review video unless you pay for the subscription, especially in cases where the camera is not readily accessible.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Roku Indoor Camera SE Package does NOT work....

Bought 4 new Roku Indoor Camera SE for our home, the Package DOES NOT MENTION that you can only use these with 2.4 Wifi....I have 5G and they will not work, so a waste of time, returned them for a refund

Terrible device. Very bad sound and glitchy recordings. Just VERY SORRY i bought 2 of them.

Does not always record

My cat was stolen by my mailman, the camera captured her coming up the driveway but never walking back down, only way out. Luckily I have good neighbors. My camera is not far from the router and I have good WiFi. This is not the first time the camera has not captured what it should. This camera should have the option to insert an SD card so it can always record even when it thinks there’sa bad connection. The picture quality is great and I do love the automatic notifications when there is movement. I’m just disappointed that in a time when I needed it to work, it didn’t.
