[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We already had a floodlight on our house, so it was pretty easy for us to install the Roku camera. We didn't have any problems connecting it to the app. It's great to be able to see what is happening outside our house, even if we're not home.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Roku’s “Smart” Home App BROKE DIMMABLE FLOODLIGHTS

First floodlight worked perfectly, after update… FLOODLIGHT IS NO LONGER DIMMABLE ON APP. Wasted countless hours with customer service, restarting floodlight, uninstalling app, reinstalling app, trying android and iphone Roku apps.
Finally, was sent a replacement by company. Second never worked right from the start.
Waste of time. Waste of money. Waste of resources for only the “appearance” of a solution. A YEAR AND A HALF LATER….. Roku still has not even made an attempt to fix the issue with THEIR APP!
Technically it’s FALSE ADVERTISING… being that one of their selling points is that the lights are DIMMABLE. THEY ARE NOT DIMMABLE!!!!!!
Would give NEGATIVE stars if I could. Absolute garbage. 18 months later… Roku has FAILED at correcting the issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a light/camera for my home. I am a heavy online shopper and I wanted a way to monitor activity at my home while expecting packages. I went with the Roku Floodlight Camera SE for all of its awesome features. Let me start of by saying that it was easy to install. These lights are the standard light up at sundown like many others. It is the features that set it apart. Motion detection that you control. It has a view of entire 270° area up to 30 feet away in 1080p HD picture—even at night—right in the Roku Smart Home mobile app. The best thing about this feature is that you can target the motion detection to certain areas. No more windy day tree limbs setting off the motion detection. The lights on this thing are BRIGHT...2600 lumens to be exact and they are dimmable. Combine that with the motion detection and they come on 3 seconds after movement has been detected. No one will sneak up on you. And if they do you can then hit them with the VERY LOUD siren. For the ultimate convenience, I can pull up the live feed on my RokuTV. I am very happy with my floodlight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to work well for my needs. Requires a paid membership but you can view the live camera feed for free any time. The paid version is to get notifications and saves motion clips Was able to hook it up and test it out. The light is okay as far as distance and brightness. It is a trusted brand and I like that.
