Very cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in a rural area on acreage. There aren’t many streetlights and it’s hard to see the whole front yard in the dark. We have a huge tree that was perfect for placing this. It lights up w thing and we can see what’s going on easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Roku-Roku Floodlight Camera SE was so easy to install. I'm extremely happy with it and I love the fact that I can check it for my phone as well as my Roku device attached to my TV. I feel much more safe and secure and I love being able to keep an eye in the house when nobody's home. I highly recommend.

I purchased this Roku floodlight camera about 4 months ago and it was very easy to set up. I had no difficulty. I did not need an electrician to assist me. It was just a very straightforward process. I would say the only issues I had were with the sensitivity of the camera and or the center and you know tweaking the the settings so that the sensor wasn't as sensitive for. Let's say for example, if leaves were going by the sensor it would light up so I was able to set that up more correctly so it didn't detect every small thing. Overall, I think this is a really great product. I find it very useful and very dependable and I would encourage anyone such as a friend or family member to purchase this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really happy to see that Roku has expanded to include floodlight security cameras. This camera is wired, so installation was a little more detailed than the wireless cameras I have. However, it was still easy to wire in like any other light fixture. The image quality is wonderful and I am very happy with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Roku floodlight camera was very easy to install and it has great hi-def resolution. I like that it has night vision and 2 way audio since I have it installed to cover my back yard and patio so I can monitor that area even at night. I havn't tested the alarm function yet since I'm afraid it will alarm my neighbors but it's nice to know it's there if I ever feel like I need it.

Video and sound recording for later view

Really upset. Purchased this device (2) for recording to a micro card. Turns out one has to pay for a monthly subscription to record on the card that you have to purchase. NOT RIGHT!!! I do not use their cloud for recording and storage!!! Did not find out until after trial period ran out. Would love to send both back for a refund!!!

Hi Richard, thanks a lot for sharing. If you're using an SD card, the app doesn't automatically save the recordings to the cloud unless you have a camera subscription. That's why you need to remove it from the camera and insert it into a computer. There are certain events (such as Time-lapse and Scheduled recordings) that can be viewed either in the app or via your computer.
