Not worth it!

Hi, I bought this wired doorbell camera a few months ago and since the beginning it's been performing poorly, I even went with the strongest wifi and nothing helps I live in a second floor and the doorbell it's close to my router modem, it takes forever to connect, people can't hear me. Trying to get a better one since I can't be going up and down stairs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sense of security

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doorbell offers an extra sense of security. It's not as easy as I thought it would be to install however, it was able to be completed in a relatively short amount of time. Still shots are all you can retain unless you pay for a subscription for the corresponding app. (this is still loads cheaper than similar doorbells offered through security companies). I love the nighttime color vision. My house is approximately 12 feet from the road and can sometimes have lots of night time activity. I feel like a doorbell camera can offer some security and sometimes deterrence. Being this close to the road, it's nice to know when I have a package on the porch and the device and app can help you determine exactly what is creating motion in view. All in all, this doorbell offers the same as other similarly priced door bells but with the added name of a brand you already trust.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got the Roku Video Doorbell and Chime SE the first thing that I noticed was the pretty purple packaging. It's somewhat easy to set up and install. I like that it detects both packages and motion. I like that I am able to know when my packages get delivered. I like that I can also talk to whoever is at my door. Would recommend to anyone who wants to monitor who comes to their house.

You do need existing wiring from an old doorbell. It is a very easy to do yourself job. I love knowing that I have the security of packages being delivered or knowing who is at my door. This is a must-have for anyone looking for a little extra security. I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Roku Hardwired Video Doorbell & Chime was a bit smaller in size than I expected. The Video Doorbell fits is palm size. This is smaller than the typical doorbell so we had to do some adjustments to configure from old doorbell. The features on the Roku with downloading the app allows you to control and monitor doorbell while being anywhere. With me being a techie, this is something I look for in all home electronics to make my home smart accessible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation was super easy and the app is incredibly easy to use. It’s comforting, with two kids in the house, knowing that we can feel more protected and that I always have eyes on the front of the house as long as my cellphone is on me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Roku’s video doorbell for a few weeks now and I love it. I work from home so this is extremely convenient for me to see when someone is at the door. My office is in the basement of my house so I would rarely be able to hear when someone was at my door, especially if I was on a meeting. This alerts me on my phone using the Roku app. It was very easy to install since you simply are replacing this with your existing doorbell (wired). The app will assist with the set up and you are in business. There are a lot of features that this has to offer but so far the motion alerts and video are the most useful for me. This is definitely a must have if you work from home.

It is waterproof so I don't worry about it working. It is nice to have a piece of mind to know whenever someone shows up on my porch.
