Not easy at all...

Have spent an hour and still can't figure out how to install this thing with the angled bracket. There are no instructions how to install with this part. And once attached to it, it pops right off, so any burglar could just remove it and then we can't see him/her! Other doorbells have a security screw so it can't be removed easily.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After you install the angled wedge to your wall, you will take the backer plate and align it with the screw holes on the wedge. Make sure that the posts in the 4 corners of the backer plater are facing outwards and upwards. Once the backer plate is screwed into the wedge on the wall, you are ready to mount your doorbell!
The doorbell will slide right onto these aforementioned posts. It should fit snugly and be quite difficult to remove again from the wall. Double check that all components are installed properly, as we wouldn't expect it to pop right off, as described.

I've had my doorbell for less than 2 months and it will not charge. I tried several chargers and bases and it won't charge. Even worse roku customer support is TERRIBLE I've been waiting for a response for weeks and still nothing. SAVE YOUR MONEY

Great video doorbell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doorbell is a great option for a video doorbell if you're looking to upgrade. I was really impressed that this came with a chime too, so we could update our old bell chime. I really like that this bell has motion detection and night vision. It is really easy to install too. All you need is your existing wiring, the Roku app, and a wifi connection.
There have also been a couple of time we had people stop by while we were out or at work, and it's really convenient to be able to communicate with whoever is at the door if you can't be there in person. It's really convenient and so easy to use.

Great Doorbell Cam for a first time user!

Literally bought the wire-free version the day it came out because we didn’t want to have to deal with installing a doorbell setup just to use it. Setup was very quick and easy. Literally the hardest part was pairing up the chime and doorbell and that took relatively no time at all. The picture is awesome, the sound is great. Definitely considering added another one to the side door of our house in the future. But we want to get some outdoor cams before we go that route..

Needs major Improvement...

The door bell looks and feels cheap to me. The camera and button portion does not secure well to the mounting hardware and can easily be removed. I contacted support via chat and spoke with two separate individuals. Neither had any knowledge of the product and offered no solution. This product would also be much better if it allowed you to connect via your existing surveillance software. The current software doesn't allow you to easily view your wifi connection and signal strength, ip address on the network, and as of this post viewing video recordings through the app is a fail and gives an error code. I am very disappointed. I have been using Roku for over a decade and expected more from this smart home product. It seems they didn't invest a lot of thought into this one.

Great for added security

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having a video doorbell is great. I love being able to see exactly who's at the door before I open it. The video footage adds a bit of extra security to your house and you're easily able to see who comes and goes. We did need to have an electrician help us install it, but totally worth it.
