Works except blue light won't stop flashing

I was able to install this without any big issues except for the "status check". The blue light is supposed to be solid, but it keeps alternating between solid blue and flashing blue ("connected to external network"). After multiple attempts contacting Roku support, no one can tell me why it keeps flashing, or even what an "external network" is; Roku only has script-readers in support. The flashing blue light is annoying and conspicuous. Every other camera Roku sells has a way to turn off the blue status light, this one does not. Too much trouble to return, I will just put black electrical tape over the stupid light and it can be ugly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This flashing blue light might indicate a lost or weak Wi-Fi connection to your router. It means the doorbell is trying to reconnect to your network. We suggest restarting your router, moving it closer to the device, and reducing the devices connected to it to see if that makes any difference. I got this for my Birthday August 05 2025. So far, I like everything about the Roku doorbell and the Speaker. The biggest issue Already is: The app disconnects from the wifi every 30 minutes. I have proceeded to do ALL of the quality checks needed, and it is on the Roku side and Not mine. Frustrating already!! Myrtle Beach sc

Not Great for Larger Homes

Overall, it works as it should. Decent quality pictures. Two-way audio is about the same as similar products. The big issue I have is that only 1 chime unit can be installed. I have a 2,500 sq ft house. The chime can only be heard if you are near the chime unit when it rings. The standard doorbell I had included chimes in 3 areas inside the house as well as on the patio. For this reason alone, I do not recommend the product. I am moving to a 2 story house and will look for another solution.
