This is a fantastic golf and fitness watch. Outstanding for Golf, which is the main reason I purchased it recently. Wish I had bought it years ago.

I love the watch for golf. Allow a few rounds of golf to get it configured the way you like. There are multiple configuration settings for golf. I noticed the garmin watch does not count steps as aggressively as my Fitbit. Also, the garmin watch will not really count steps at all when lawnmowing because my wrist is not moving. The Fitbit had no problems with this.

The watch is great with plenty of information while golfing. I only use some of the other apps, but they are also great. The only complaint is the band. The standard band is very difficult to get on.

Best Watch I have ever owned

I tried several other watches made by different manufacturers with disappointments along the way. I decided to pay the money for a Garmin S50 Approach and I am glad I did. Extremely happy with the watch and I hope to upgrade to the S70 before long.

A little disappointed.

This is my 4th garmen. I don’t like it as much as the S40. The S40 showed a running total of how many above par and at the end of 9 showed your 9 hole total and were you going on. The S50 has lots of bells and whistles but have yet to locate the 9 hole total. The number for the score total are so small they are hard to read. I would gladly trade in my S50 for my old S40.
