[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this Shark Robot self emptying vacuum to try to keep up with all dirt and debris in our home. We just built our home so there is a lot of stuff on the floor. We have hardwood floors and area rugs so we wanted something that could tackle both surfaces. This works amazingly and would recommend to others. It does a good job with cleaning the floors, emptying into the base and it is easy to clean. I also enjoy the different things you can program for the shark to do like setting a schedule which we do for the middle of the night.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had the shark AV752 ION Robot Vacuum, its a HUGE upgrade compared to this one! Before the vacuum wouldn’t have a designated direction it would pretty much bump into everything and be all over the place, compared to this one it pretty much goes row by row and the app features are way better! And also self cleaning! After each run it does back to its dock and cleans it self out. I would definitely recommend this is a life saver! Especially with kids there’s so much that needs to be done so I like how sweeping the floor isn’t a task for me anymore lol.

Great for pet hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed some help with keeping up with the pet fur and I got this robot vacuum. The large emptying hold is great. With pet hair I have to empty it more frequently but it's worth it. It does a great job on the tile and wood floors as well as my large floor rug. It does a pretty good job along the edges with the side brush. I'm still trying to figure out how to make rooms with the mapping. I'm sure I'll get there. I like that I can schedule it to clean at certain times or just have my alexa start it up. This has been a chore saver for me. It takes me a lot less time now to use my main vacuum, which I use now to do the little nooks and crannies that this can't get into. I high recommend this vacuum if you have pets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ahhh this is so great! Setup was extremely easy, doesn't take up a lot of space. We named ours Lurch. Lurch is so quiet and does a great job of cleaning. Vacuums scare my puppy but Lurch doesn't bother her too much (unless it bumps into her), but if it does, I can always run it at night and not worry about it bothering her.

Clean floors without the hassle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the opportunity to try out the Shark Matrix vacuum and it’s changed up my cleaning routine now. First, the 45 day day capacity base is a life saver on saving me time since I don’t need to empty it after each use. It just goes right back to the dock and empties out. Second, I love the sleek design that makes it stand out in the home. The way the robot returns back to the dock after each use still impresses me. Lastly, the set up and use of this vacuum is really easy to use and to understand m. Set up was easy and the manual was very accessible since it’s a QR code.
Overall, this vacuum has been a game changer and I can’t imagine myself without one now!

Not happy with this product it keeps forgetting the layout of my house and it doesn’t reach the whole house I have had it remap over and over it still doesn’t do the complete room

I have no issues with it capabilities. My issue is the noise. It’s sounds as if something is rattling. The noise is annoying.

Cats

I have cats, litter boxes, cat food, those stupid cardboard cat scratchers, and hardwood floors. I vaccumed and swept so much just to walk bare foot in the house. I am a shark fan already, but was extremely cautious comparing robot vaccums. I was convinced by the matrix mode for the litter area. I have not been disappointed. Don't get me wrong I have to edge up some of the corners every so often, it's not perfect. He does great picking up those cardboard chunks from cat scratchers and hair. I thought I kept the floors clean, but the first time he swept he had to empty 4 times. Now that he is set regularly he may only empty once.
Some of the reviews about the app made me worried and I have experienced a few issues but if you close the app out and start again the problem usually solves its self. I've noticed it acts up when you do too much at once. Mapping and room setting went quick. I also think you should update no go zones as problems come up like places you leave clothes. My only brush jam comes up when Gary runs over spaghetti strap tank tops.
I paid full price for this guy, and feel no remorse about it. I'm living my best life without the sensory overload that is accumulating gunk on my feet.
