A lifesaver!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have long been skeptical of these types of things simply because I figured they would never work well but boy was I wrong! I have chronic pain in my back so some days I can't do much so this little gal we named Lucy gets all my floors vacuumed including the dog hair from my beloved dog Otis who sheds enough to make a blanket!! I was just amazed how it picked up his hair like nothing.
The directions with apps is easy enough to understand and setup but had a little trouble with mapping but figured it out.
Im super happy with it and glad to have it as it's been such a huge help to me!

Holy Grail

This vacuum has been a lifesaver. We love knowing that this machine runs effectively and efficiently even without us being home! I would recommend this to anyone with pets or kids who could use an assist with cleanup!

Good for intermittent cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first robot vacuum I've owned. I am pretty impressed with how well it maps and navigates the house. The app makes it easy to tell it to give the living room a once over or "Matrix Clean" (go over the area twice) in the kitchen. It does really well picking up the clumps of pet hair and bits of dirt tracked in around the house. However, I wouldn't say it can completely replace your normal vacuum. It tends to just push around a loose rug in the foyer and power cords/charging cables are its kryptonite. I wouldn't use it completely unattended in case a pet had an accident. The self-emptying feature is very nice. Whenever it's full, it heads back to base and empties, then carries on where it left off. The robot vacuum alone is not as loud as a regular vacuum - you can watch TV while it's working just need to turn up the volume a few notches. The only time it is really loud is when it empties into the base, but that only lasts less that a minute. Overall I am well pleased with this little robot.

This is a terrible model.

It has been less than a month since I’ve received the replacement unit and the same problem of it not following the map and finishing a cleaning cycle five minutes into the cycle has started. At this time, it does ok if I just push the button on the vacuum to clean. But that method failed eventually on the one that this has replaced, so my expectations are low. I’m really bummed to be stuck with this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No room selection on schedule feature

The app does not allow me to select certain rooms for a schedule. The schedule feature only allows you to schedule the entire house or nothing, unless you want to set ‘no go’ rooms, which isn’t something I want to alter every day. My map is set, my rooms are labeled, so this simple feature should be there. I would do the entire house, but the battery won’t last and it has to go back and re-charge for 3 hours. I’m not happy with the purchase and may return it.

Focus on tech, not enough focus on functionality

I bought a shark years ago when they came out, worked great, easy to troubleshoot and very long lasting. This version has been nothing but issues. Sub par suction, doesn’t detect dirt well, and now currently will not charge, I have had this less than a year and do not have carpet. I also have this set up in a space of about 700 square feet so the bar is pretty low. I would not recommend this product at all and next time will be buying something else.
