Does an OK job, but with issues.

This Robo vac does an OK job, but it's not great. It does have it's limitations. It will not clean the edges of rooms (against the wall), so don't throw out your traditioan vac as you will have to follow behind to get the edges. It goes a fair to poor job on medium pile carpet. It gets bound up with hair (pet and human) It does not clean in a nice grid like the y say it does. It does that for a little and then starts bouncing around the room in random paterns. It leaves some spots completely untouched. It occassionally gets caught under various chairs around the house and must be rescued. Every time it starts oit tells me there is an error and that I must clean something, but it's very difficult to understand the robo voice so I don't know what it's saying.It makes anouncements when it is noisily emptying itself. The sound of the emptying process is so loud that the announcement cannot be understood.
It does a pretty good job on non carpeted floors as well as short nap carpet. It leaves untouched spots however, so I have to go back over them with a standard vac or run the robo again. I think if one were to tun this 3-4 times a week it would keep things clean except for the problems mentioned.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works Great

I mostly have tile and wood floors and this shark does a pretty good job cleaning. It’s a little loud but I don’t mind. My only complaint is that you can’t schedule different rooms to be cleaned on different days.
It has some trouble getting hung up on the ironing board legs so I’ve had to block that room but other than that it does a pretty good job getting out of tight spaces.

Won’t self empty

I have had this vacuum for a few months now. It picks
up everything pretty well. The issue I have with it is that it won’t
empty itself into the bin 90% of the time. I have to empty it manually.
If you have pets or kids don’t wast the money on a self empty one
And just get the manual one since you will be doing that most of the time anyways.

Making amazing. Sound horrible

This thing accurately maps my mouse, it doesn't slam into things like the other models I have had.
Sound 1/5 it is significantly louder than all other models I have had. Unless you are running in eco mode (the lowest of the 3 power settings) then it is relatively quite. But the normal setting is obnoxiously loud.

Great Features and a Real Time Saver

The Matrix Self Empty Robot Vacuum replaced a previous AV970 vacuum. The previous vacuum could not hold a charge and the new vacuum is working fine. We have only had the unit for about 1 week, but it has done an excellent job of vacuuming and then emptying itself when needed.
The new vacuum has not been fully utilized as yet since we have not used the "Matrix" feature. We are very pleased with the operation of the replacement unit and believe it will give us many years of great vacuuming. Both of us are "mature" citizens and the typical routine of using a manual vacuum is very tiring. The robot vacuum has been a very good addition to our house and we recommend it highly.
The new vacuum has not been fully utilized as yet since we have not used the "Matrix" feature. We are very pleased with the operation of the replacement unit and believe it will give us many years of great vacuuming. Both of us are "mature" citizens and the typical routine of using a manual vacuum is very tiring. The robot vacuum has been a very good addition to our house and we recommend it highly.

Little noisy.

Got this as a replacement for a similar model. This one maps better, and avoids obstacles well. It doesn’t keep
bumping into objects, it goes around them. It cleans well. We live in a sandy area, and our dog brings in lot of
sand on his paws. It cleans it no problem. Pet hair is not a problem either. It is a bit noisy, so we set it to run when
we are not at home.

New Shark works great

Over all I am very happy with my Shark Matrix.
The only issue is I have a cleaning schedule M,W, and F set for 1pm., and it starts at 11 am instead.
So to remedy this i set the schedule to start at 3pm instead and now it starts at 1 pm like I want it to.
Which is not a big issue. I feel like the shark internal clock is set for different time zone.
But other then that it is great.
