[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an amazing machine! Couldn’t wait to get it up and running. Set it up, got it online and away we go! Charged it and it mapped my floor plan. Re-charge and time to clean. Gets right next to floor trim and negotiates around tables just great! I have a dog so this will get daily use. Not noisy at all. Love the self emptying feature. A great addition to my home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third robot vacuum. I psyched myself up to set it up to the wifi. I’d had horrors with my last robot vac but the Shark was set up in minutes. So easy!
I let it fully charge which from 30% to 100% took about three hours. It does an initial map after which you can name rooms, set up no go areas etc,. My house is all on one level but has a transitional step which is too much for any robot vac. I have a 50/50 mix of hardwood with rugs and carpet in the bedrooms.
Now for the actual cleaning. It’s quiet. So quiet I had to check it was still running a couple of times. It has a feature called Matrix whereby you can set it to go over heavy traffic or dirtier areas. That takes about 10 mins. It did a flawless job, didn’t get stuck anywhere or knock into anything. I love that heart stopping moment where you think it’s going to fall down the stairs (in this case to the cellar) but it pulls back. I’d used a conventional upright vac first as I wanted to see how much dirt it would pull up on a supposedly clean carpet and I was shocked at how much dust and general nastiness it got up.
The self emptying feature is great. No having to empty it after each run and the filter is a big improvement over the typical paper filters.
I find these tend to do a better job if you run it if not daily then every other day.
Overall I can’t find any faults at all and I totally love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad to upgrade my older model shark robot to the Matrix version. This has a lot more to offer. It has mapping capability for the rooms you want vacuumed. I also like the charging station that also holds the emptied debris that gets picked up. So no more emptying after each use! The charging station is bigger and provides a good charge. I am always happy with my shark cleaning tools!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup was an absolute breeze, just place the docking station with enough empty space on either side and in front. Make sure the base is close to a wifi node, download the app and rock and roll. This machine, in one word, is efficient. I have a cat, a dog and several people living under one roof and this cleans up everything we track in and around. Not having to clean a tray all the time is fantastic. Just set this thing up and let it rip. It is going to be very nice to come home to a clean floor in the house, effort free. In terms of overall design, it is clean and intuitive. The app is simple to download and use and the machine looks like it belongs in a space ship. I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it.

Easy to set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a ranch-style house which is semi-open concept. I can’t believe this little robot can clean the whole thing. It successfully mapped the area with no input from me. The app lets you break up your house into defined rooms of your choosing allowing you to target specific places or clean the whole thing. I prefer to run mine at night because the vacuum is very quiet. I can move obstacles out of the way as part of my nighttime routine and then move them back the next morning. I’ve had other robot vacuums in the past and they routinely got stuck on thresholds or cords. Not an issue with the shark. It’s also a complete game changer that the charging dock empties the vacuum. The dock has filters and a mess free way to empty into the trash. Very impressed.

In past I’ve had to empty quite frequently but with this bad boy he empties himself and it takes me than a day to fill that before I have to dump. It says 45 days but I don’t think in my home with this many animals it will last that long but I’m still good with that. Last one I had to clean it out every time it ran! Was so easy to set up to get started and it works very well!

It does pick dirt from corners and nooks much better compared to other robot vacuums we owns. Best part about this vacuum is it has self empty capability which saved a lot of time for us. No more cleaning everywhere day or worrying about the dust collector being full. We clean the parts and empty the bag every 15-20 days. I am so happy with this machine, no more worrying about dirt and trash on the floor with two active little kids in the house.

Matrix for the win!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very disappointed by our former robot (bought 3 years ago), but this robot is great!
The unboxing and installation were very easy. The phone app is intuitive and guides you to install the vacuum. The base and robot look modern and actually do not take too much space. So far, I am very pleased with this product.
First, I like that it has big wheels compared to our old one. The one we had before had hair constantly stuck in the wheels and could not function properly. So I really like this new one just because of that. That said,
It is a little loud but it is not bothersome.

One other thing that I feel is very important is that the robot cleans near the baseboards so you do not have dust or crumbs left behind against the baseboards. You don't have to sweep behind it like I used to do with our old one. It actually cleans as it should and our carpet and hardwood floors look very nice.
Our house is 3800 sq. ft. and we placed it downstairs which is probably about 2800 sq. ft (not 100% sure)? The mapping of our areas was extremely fast. The app mentioned it would take 25 minutes but it took 10 at most and the accuracy on the app was stunning. We can create virtual rooms, no-go zones, and control everything on our phone which is amazing if we want the robot to only clean certain areas...
The robot takes its time to clean, so you have to be patient if you have large areas to clean. It will clean in perfect lines though, and will avoid any object in its way. You can choose different cleaning powers.
You can also choose Matrix cleaning and while it will take slightly longer it will do a deep vacuuming cycle! We really like Matrix cleaning for certain areas such as the dining room, especially with 3 kiddos.
Let's say that we do not use our regular vacuum that much anymore.
