[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was initially excited about this product as it was a customizable controller, but once I started using it I noticed a couple flaws with it being marketed as a PS5 controller.
The layout of the controller is similar to an Xbox controller and does not connect by itself to the PS5 system. You have to plug in a receiver into the USB ports to be able to use it wirelessly. I enjoyed being able to modify the weight on the remote and customize buttons to execute quicker commands. The remote is not the most user friendly though and requires some work to do so. Battery life is about the same as a standard official PS5 controller. I would not recommend it for a PS5 user.

Great controller , poor software

Love the customization of the controller, esp. the weights. I downloaded the software on Windows 11, installed updates as suggested. Connected the controller , trying to change settings, everything on the right side of the software is non-responsive, i can choose Mapping, Sticks & Dpad, Triggers, Lighting Effects, etc. no problem, but on the right side, i can't make any changes, can't change colour/brightness, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quality feel, made to last

Note that PS five games won’t activate the rumble vibration on the controller, but the Hall effect joysticks means that this controller is built to last

Feels like I paid for a premium controller and I am glad that there is no possibility of having stick drift. So far so good from my experience.

Got my nacon revvy 5 just now from a store and my god
If i had to describe it in 2 words it would prolly be freakishly comfortable
This controller is my first ever pro controller i ever touched, used, and bought

You gotta remember this is one of the lowest priced controllers that got hall effect sticks

Now the rear buttons. And profiles. these are what really make the revvy 5 really good you gotta bind em and tweak your profile and what not
Anyways. Love this product the price is 200 pretty crazy but like pretty all pro controllers are like that
My only suggestion for the nacon rev 5 not having haptic feedback bc sony are some protective scums, would be to have basic vibrations without haptic feedback
I play for honor mainly so this aint much of a problem cuz for honor is ps4 game so it has vibrations

Over all. This is an amazing controller all that it would be missing is if it was modular but tbf i dont think its needed when u know this big boi aint finna break

I owned a Nacon Controller for PS4 and loved it. I can say the same for this one. It is a great product, it does what it says, and the quality is great.

Love it. I only have one single complaint...the back buttons are kinda oddly placed for me. Are there any extensions or something for the back buttons?

The controller is very nice and I love the customization. There are some issues though. Why does it need a dongle in order to connect to the Playstation wirelessly that is just a little annoying, mostly because I can’t turn the PS5 on with the controller. The controller is expensive, so you would expect to do what a regular controller can do and some. A small issue but an issue nonetheless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
