Starting with the unboxing I was immediately impressed that the remote included a quality hard shell case for storing it when not in use. The remote also comes with a ton of different button options to truly customize it to your desired spec. It was super simple to set up on my PS5 and has worked flawlessly. The battery life has been fantastic and I have experienced no negatives to this remote. It has also greatly improved my gaming abilities with the added buttons and the effortlessness of the remote to do as needed. Overall I don’t think I could ever not use this remote again.

Overpriced accidental button pressing

Right off the bat the controller was already drifting when using the left stick down or to the right and even after playing with it, it still drifted. Not only did it drift but the stick was actually stuck in those positions.

I like the idea of the extra buttons on the back of the controller however I found myself accidentally pressing them all the time due to their location within the grip itself so if you are a person who holds tight on these controllers or you play something that's intense, you will accidentally press these buttons all the time, like me. I also wish that napping these buttons were easier than having to do it on my computer, especially since it's a licensed product, maybe through a PS5 app instead of computer app would be great?
I'm also very sad that the controller despite its price point doesn't come with haptic feedback nor any kind of vibration for the PlayStation 5, and the fact that this does not connect directly to the PlayStation but through a dongle seems outdated to me and these things combined seems like a step in the wrong direction.
It doesn't feel like this controller is built for PlayStation 5 at all despite being an "officially licensed product" by Sony.
I feel like a lot of the ideas are great but not executed very well on this controller and I don't see myself using this but as a third controller for my PlayStation 5.

I also appreciate how you can swap out the d pad and change the weight of the controller. The battery is also nice and lasts a good amount of time between charges. Overall it’s a great controller and looks nice as well.

Customization and Excellence

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Revolution 5 Pro PS5 controller is by far one of her best I’ve ever used. The controller includes so many different variations and customization this really could be a controller for anyone. Coming from someone who typically prefers an Xbox controller over a playstation, I’ve even converted to this being my main controller. The buttons on the back of the controller are a massive advantage for someone playing a game with many controls. The battery lasts average of not above average length, but the ability to plug in a USB-C makes battery life not really matter.
