It's a great controller, but it has a couple issues I wish I would've known. The first is that it has a dongle; I was hoping to connect without and I don't recall seeing mention of it on the site (I could've missed it). The second is that it cannot turn on the PS5; I have to use another controller to turn it on. A couple annoyances are that there is a white light that flashed on the dongle when it's disconnected... (why?) and the configuration software feels a bit clunky for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had been looking for an alternative to the standard Dualsense controller, and I wasn't too excited about my options. The Razer one was too expensive, and the others didn't suit me either. I discovered this Revolution 5 PRO about a week or so after it had been released. It checks all the boxes for me. It's comfortable in my hands, it provides all the accessories I'd ever need, and my experience with the software has been positive. I'd recommend this controller if you prefer the asymmetrical analog layout. It's built well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Controller....connection is lacking?

Let me start by saying that I am a DIEHARD XBOX guy. Haven't held a PS controller since PS2 probably. So when I bought a PS5 a week ago, I knew I needed to find an XBOX like controller. Enter the Revolution 5 Pro. It was everything I had hoped for.
However, after I started playing a couple games with it, it randomly disconnects and then reconnects. I have a PS5 slim so the USB-A is on the backside. I bought a short 8" extension cable to get the dongle to the front of my console to no avail. Controller still randomly disconnects, and often I might add. Can't find any videos, literature, or Q&As about this issue. Is mine the only one? About to return product if I can't find a fix....

Having gone through two dualsense controllers. My original launch model and a second one, I was looking for a new controller without drift related issues. Buying the this controller which had Hall sensor sticks was my go-to. While I prefer symmetrical analog sticks, the having a controller without any sort of drift related issues was far more important over analog placement.

Left thumstick no longer holds caps.

The caps on the thumstick started poping off months ago.now it no longer holds any cap. The controller was a gift for Christmas from my mom who is now in hospice. The mechanics of the controller is great. Its a plastic piece that is broken. No idea how to fix.

The controller is nice and is the same price as sucf. But my only problem with the controller is that the software is not downloadable to neither cookbooks or mobiles. Scuf has the same problem. But it is a nice controller and really good quality overall. Worth it? You decide.

The Nacon 5 handle has the joystick drifting

Hello, I'm from Vietnam and I'm a fan of Nacon controllers. I have Nacon revolution 2, Nacon revolution X, and I have two Nacon revolution 5 controllers, white and black. My black Nacon revolution 5 controller has a problem with joystick drift. I bought this controller when I was traveling in Japan. When I returned to Vietnam, I spent a week playing it and the right joystick of the controller was shifted to the right like in the video. The problem still persists if I move the joystick to the right. Currently, I don't know how to fix my controller because I don't know what kind of hall effect joystick the controller is to find and replace it. I really regret the money I spent to own this controller, it's really quite a lot for me, and I also really like Nacon controllers and would like to get help to know about replacement joystick parts for the Nacon 5 controller. Thank you
