LOVE this! We hate AC, so we use fans, but still...it's hot here in La. So I bought this fan and purifier and am so happy. The flow of air is moving throughout the house. MUCH cooler and now I can see how the smoker roomie, is making the air not so good. I also love the app. I can change it to sleep mode from bed or set the schedule. I know I paid A LOT for this product and since it's arrived, each day is spent, with time appreciating this fan. So much so, that I may consider another one, when my old AM03 dies. BUT WHY did you discontinue that fan?? Pedestal Fan AM 03 is BEST! Can raise it UP and bend it over.... SO, as happy as I am with this fan...I REALLY wish I could find a NEW AMO3! Or refurbished. NONE of the new products with Dyson are quite as good as that one. ALSO, it's less than a month since I got this new fan, and the filter says it's already at 90%???? How is it supposed to last a year?? Gosh, my place must be filthy. FAN Guilt is real.
I purchased the purifier to determine what is the nature of the odors I have been encountering in my residence. The odors are intermittent and often clear with several standing fans set at high speeds. I have been having symptoms of headaches, fatigue, and brain fog. Occasionally there is a sulfur odor, but more often an odor similar to dry cleaning odors, but a little more “earthy”. The Dyson purifier has been placed in my bedroom for two weeks now. I am getting data showing moderately poor air quality and moderate to high volatile organic compounds readings. While this is nonspecific as to the actual agents in the VOCs, it has assisted me greatly in my efforts to determine the sources of the unusual odors.

The filters are amazingly long lasting and keep the noise down great. The air flow does well and good I just wish I didn’t have to set the button down so often to kick the swing mode up on its coverage you know. Overall I like the design. A+ rating.
