Fan is very weak even at its highest level. Anything between level 5-10 is extremely loud.
Dyson return has been the worst experience I have ever. 2 weeks and 4 phone calls later, still no return label. Do not buy direct from Dyson!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Filter. Not a Room Fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this about two weeks ago with minimal expectations. It works really well with air filtration. The App is very easy to use and especially helpful if you happen to misplace the remote. The unit is very quiet and sounds more like white noise than most other systems. When rotating, the unit covers a fairly sizable area of the room. The only drawback is the height and force for which the fan blows. It is too short to truly blow on people sleeping/beds to get a full effect. The top air speed is not very strong for forceful fan blowing but that is not the design of the product. Air filtration is its primary function and it does a good job of that. The replacing of the filter is very easy as well. I would recommend this product for small rooms/areas.

A Complete Air Purifier Solution for Large Spaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An initial impression of the Dyson Purifier Cool PC2 De-Nox is that the unit has a very premium look - the copper accent on white gives it a high-end look. The unit is slim, allowing for placement in tight quarters.
The set-up of the unit using the My Dyson app is easy - the app recognized the unit quickly on power-on, and enrollment was quick. The look-and-feel on the unit, as well as on the app is familiar, being similar to other Dyson purilier units. The air quality monitor is quite comprehensive, including particulates, formaldehyde, volatiles, and NOx, eliminating the need for a separate air quality monitor.
The oscillation set-up is nice - being able to set the sweep angle, as well as the direction of the sweep. The maximum air flow rate of the Dyson Purifier is high at 76 gallons/sec, which should filter the air of a large room quickly. At the maximum speed, the noise level was only around 50 dBA at around 6 feet, which is considerably quieter than other large purifier units. Finally, the additional filtering capability of NOx and fomaldehyde sets this air purifier apart from other units, making this a complete air purifier solution.

Great versatility and function!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the versatility of this air purifer - so many ways to control it (remote, phone app, voice commands through Alexa and Google Home). Also can have it rotate or not, and the fan is great for when my room warms up in the afternoons. It is surprisingly quiet for a relatively large unit; I have had smaller air purifiers from other brands that were louder and less effective. And while the unit is large, the design is great so I generally don't mind the size.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I did not even think about the air quality when having that unit installed but so happy we had the air purifier working, especially since we have a new baby.

Great Dyson Purifier Fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Dyson Purifier a couple weeks ago and it’s been great. I love the sleek design, it’s light weight as well, easy to carry and place in multiple parts of the house. The purifier doubles as a fan and has great features to cover a little as 45 to as large as 350 degrees of the room. It’s great at night because it’s not loud, you can adjust the settings via remote or the app. I love to leave it on during the day so when I get home I step into cool fresh air, it helps the rooms not feel stinky or stuffy. The app tracks the air quality and any changes, it also shows you the life of the filter and when you should change it. I love that the app can break down all the stats, temperature, air quality of each room. I love this purifier/ fan, ifs been great. I have a cat, two kids and live in a 2 bedroom apartment and it works great for our large apartment. I love that the filter is HEPA + Carbon filter
