Happy With This Brewer

I had an older Keurig brewer that finally needed to be replaced. I debated between this one and an older model on clearance and finally decided to go with the 2.0. I am very happy I did. This machine takes regular k-cups, VUE packs ( I can froth now without cleaning the frother!), K-mugs and the K-carafe cups. In summer I make the brew over ice drinks. My iced tea tastes better from this machine than the older model. I am not sure why, but I think the water is hotter. I do wish I could get more than 6 ounces of hot water at a time. With the old machine, I just ran without a k-cup to get a cup of hot water for the tea. Maybe I will try using my ecobrew refillable k-cup empty to get a cup of hot water. Thanks, Keurig, for the free pods for this review.

I am a gardner,I want my hot coffee in the morning,before the heat of the day,I also want my cold drink when the job is done.but I must have my hot coffee when I get home. these machines should be called multi beverage makers.you have so many choices, wonderful!

I use my brewer several times a day. It is very easy to work and I love that it comes with it's own cleaning tool to help keep the needles clean. It's also very stylish and has a larger tank than my old brewer. The carafe is a bonus. The best part is that Keurig has the best customer service, hands down. Outstanding Brewing System

Thanks, Keurig, for the free pods for this review. However, I would have written it without any compensation. I am very happy with my new Keurig 2.0 K550 Brewing system. I especially like the touchscreen setting capability and the larger water reservoir. It is a little louder than my previous Keurig Platinum, but not so much that it is bothersome. Thank you for constantly improving my coffee brewing experience. You might be interested to know that I never drank coffee in my life until I had a cup brewed in a Keurig about 5 years ago. Since then I have been a daily Keurig coffee fan, much to the surprise of my children and family. Thanks again.

Perfect brewing system

Always been pleased with the Keurig coffeemakers. I've had issues with descaling and hopefully this new one will be easier to descale. Coffeemakers don't last as long in my area because of the hard water.

Not Hot Enough

This is my 2nd 2.0 K500 and this like the 1st one, does not brew coffee hot enough. I had a Vue which allowed a higher heat setting and loved it.
Pros: Brews quickly, Durable, Easy to use
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot

Actually prefer my old Keurig brewer

My old brewer was about to die, so I thought I'd move up to the new 2.0 brewer. It feels more like a step backwards, with the exception on being able to brew a Carafe. I now have less brew size choices, can't use an adapter with bagged coffee, have to hold in the button to dipense hot water, etc... This is progress? It seems like Keurig is more bent on making the brewers increasingly proprietary than on improving the quality. I now wish I had gotten a K45 instead. Thanks Keurig for the free pods for this review.

Cons: Less Size Options, Long Brew Time, Cant Brew With Bag Coffee, Hot Water Button

Only negative concerned Keurig Coffees that lacked K - 2.0 electronic information that disallowed brewing. Some folks buy large amounts of prior K Cups that were dated and unusable in the 500 series. All the rest of my comments scream: Buy It!! Can't go wrong with the 550!
