I love this machine

I have never owned a Keurig machine before but heard so many positive opinions that I decided to indulge in a machine. Previously, I would only use a standard coffee pot and this is the first time I decided to make a high tech purchase. It is so extremely effortless and the coffee brews wonderfully! Every time I want a fresh cup it is easy to make and this prevents waste from making a whole pot and it getting cold and nasty throughout the day. I love my new Keurig! Thanks, Keurig, for the free pods for this review.

450 is a bit smaller but liked it...

After returning the 550, because it leaked and clogged several times, we went to the 450. The hot water option was a deal breaker, at first we thought only the 550 did it but 450 also brews it. Brews faster too.
Pros: Stylish, Large Pot, Easy to clean, Multiple Settings, Larger water reservoir
Cons: Louder Than Smaller Units, No Larger Travel Cup Brew, Loud, Clogs Faster, Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Long Brew Time

I love the fact that I can make hot water at the touch of a button. The extra adapter that I purchased to use my coffee grounds works like a charm. I really wish they had kept the Keurig at work, oh well.

I was particularly pleased with how willingly Keurig replaced my two year old Vue (experienced hard to get pods) with the new 2.0 system. So far, my wife and I are impressed with the quality of coffee the 2.0 produces, ease of use, and speed of production. Great machine and company willing to listen to concerns and react accordingly. • I recently updated my Keuring Platinum to the Keurig 2.0 K550 brewing system and I love it. I like having the option to brew a single cup or a carafe. The 80 oz. water reservoir is a plus, and the large color touch display is easy to use. Strength control is a feature that I really like because I am a black coffee drinker, and my husband drinks his with a lot of cream so he can brew a stronger cup. I even use it for hot water to moisten my puppy's food. We drink coffee, all flavors, tea and hot cocoa when the grandkids are here. It is worth the cost and its been awhile since our cup of coffee was hot, our last Keurig brewer was on its last leg, I think this was exactly the right choice.

I use the single cup brew function everyday, and the whole pot function on the weekends. There was a bit of a learning curve, went thru three Kpods before i hit the amount of coffee in the pot that was needed. That also sometimes happens with the KCup function as well. Although not as much as with my previous Keurig, which is why I now have this one. THis one was given to me by keurig as a replacement for my old Keurig.

We had an older Keurig Platinum which was very noisy but the new Keurig is nice and quiet. Unfortunately, none of our travel mugs fit so we now have to brew in a standard mug and then pour into a travel mug. This is very inconvenient for an item that is supposed to make brewing coffee more convenient.
