I received this K550 as a gift from my son. As a woman who doesn't drink coffee it wasn't too appealing until I realized that I could make hot chocolate! What a concept. I was so happy. And then my son bought me the vitamin juice selection. At first I was skeptical but it really is delicious and fresh. Sometimes I like to just stand around and watch it work. Thanks, Keurig, for the free pods for this review.

Only got this brewer as a replacement for the malfunctioning Platinum brewer. Would never buy a brewer where you could only use Keurig K-Cups - too many other good kinds of coffee out there to stick with only Keurig. Having a pot is useless where the reson you get the machine is to brew one cup at a time. When we want a pot of coffee, we brew a pot of coffee.

We have had a Keurig for several years and liked it. The new 560 we bought has a few Cons that we were unhappy with. Too small a cup size. Have to make an 8 oz and a 6 oz to get our 14 oz cup. Grounds collect in the nozzle. Keurig sent us a new tool to fix that but we just got it and haven't had to use it yet. Not sure why the unit has to be so noisy when brewing. You can hear it chugging all over the house. If Keurig could fix these problems it would be a very good appliance. Dick Circle

This brewer is very easy to use, and the controls are very easy to set. The temperature of the brew is hot and good. I just wish there were more cup sizes to choose from and that we could use our owncoffee in it.

My hubby makes coffee in his coffee maker so I have coffee from there. I use the keurig in between. I like the convenience of it. I don't care for the price of the pods though. I buy when on sale.
