I originally gave this 2.0 a 4 star review, however after having it for awhile I have to change that to a 1 star. Contacted customer support with a power up problem and they quickly sent me a new 2.0(customer service is very good) Started using the new one immediately and found out that when you try to brew a single k-cup with 6 ounces and again for another 6 ounces for a total of 12 ounces(wife likes her coffee wweaker than I do) that the display says oops that it is not a keurig brand cup, which it is. I don't want Keurig dictating to me that I have to drink stronger coffee. I contacted customer service and they said that is what it is supposed to do. When I told them I could brew the 12 ounces on my other 2.0 they said the first one must have been defective. I have used Keurig for more than 10 years but an done with them now. Garbage can for this one.
Pros: Brews quickly
Cons: Limited Features, HARD TO CLEAN
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The carafe is difficult to position for brewing. Most of the time only it only brews a small amount of coffee so a carafe pod is wasted. The coffee is not very hot so when creamer is added, I have to microwave it.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Brews quickly, Easy to clean, Variety Of Brew Options
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Loud, Carafe Brewing Difficult, Can't Use Own Coffee, Can't Use All Kcups
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I fell in love with the original Keurig. the concept of each cup being fresh & tasty made me fall in love with coffee all over again. The idea of having one that also made a carafe was great, which is why I upgraded to the 2.0 when my old Keurig finally stopped working after several years. Now no more pulling out the old mr coffee when guests came over or having a "coffee line" waiting to use the Keurig. Unfortunately the 2.0 is a bit of a disappointment. It doesn't keep coffee hot, even the individual cups do not stay hot for long. Additionally you can not make a full cup of hot water. I have resorted to using my tea pot again for hot lemon water or brew loose tea. Which brings up the question of being able to use the my refillable pod...I can't. You can only use pods specially marked for the 2.0. I had the Keurig Platinum... that was the best. I wish they would continue making the older machines like my Platinum. i am sure they can figure out new colors or new features to add ...like the pretty lights and touch screen of the 2.0. "Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review".
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Loud, Limited Features

For the originator of the k cup to change the size of the cup the machine uses is irresponsible. It might be a good marketing tool to get people to have to buy replacement k cups, but it is not good 'PR'. The company should have, at the very least, provided a single cup basket and a coupon for some k cups with the coffee maker.

At first I wasn't sure about switching to the cup approach. It is nice not to have to clean up a pot after making coffee in a regular coffeemaker. I do wish that the Kuerig could produce a 10-12 cup carafe. The current 4-5 cup approach is just not large enough when almost all people in a household drink the same type of coffee.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Brews quickly, Easy to clean, Easy to use
Cons: Small Pot

I use it everyday for morning coffee, love the nightlight/color customization, one touch brewing. down side is it's much louder than previous models and I would like to see a size selection 12 or 14oz to fill a travel mug on my way to work. overall, I enjoy it.
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Brews quickly, Easy to clean
Cons: Loud, No travel mug size, Small Pot

My wife and I use this unit every day on the way out the door for a hot cup. I also enjoy that throughout a work at home day I don't have to consider that my coffee is getting old and burnt. The hot water feature was a must for us but isn't as user friendly as when using K-cups since one has to hold the button down. Also almost sent the unit back when it "plugged up" in the first week and after much youtube searching discovered that a paperclip or hairpin can be used to clean out the orfices in the needle if grounds get up into them. Works like a charm now.
Pros: Consistent Flavor, Brews quickly, Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Durable, Stylish, Large Pot
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Hot Water Not Easy To Use, HARD TO CLEAN
