Frustrating when about 1 in 10 cups won't read and the machine refuses to brew it because it thinks its an "unofficial Kcup". I have to open and close the lid about 10 times before it eventually scans it and brews. BTW scanning the lid for the perfect cup is a scam. It brews the same exact cup it always did with nothing different or special. It just refuses to brew any unapproved brand because it can't guarantee the quality? BS. With its problems I prefer a Keurig machine over a coffee pot any day. The convince and ability to change flavors cup to cup has me sold. The Keurig Capacino machine is amazing too. Overall, great upgrade from my previous Keurig machine. Still waiting to be able to brew 12oz in my travel mug, but I know it's coming soon. Lots of great features. Convenient but needs to be cleaned often

Very convenient, brews quickly. The brewing system gets clogged up frequently. The fix according to support is to get a paper clip and to straighten it out and stick it in the needles that puncture the cups. This is not only a pain, but it is not easy looking upside down and finding the holes in the needles. I don't know what the problem is but it should be rectified. I shouldn't have to pay this much for a product and have it refuse to ake coffee 3 times a week!

I use this product everyday, for k-cups and hot water. The style is nice and water tank is larger than my k-45. I like the display and water tank color options and the brew timer for the k-carafe. I previously had the k-45 and could brew larger quantities of hot water. The k-550 only allows you to brew 6oz at a time. We don't particularly like the taste of the k-carafe brewed coffee. It just tasted weaker than a k-cup, even on the smallest setting of 2-3 cups so we don't use it. Unfortunately this is why I purchased this brewer. I was hoping to replace the standard coffee pot all together.
Pros: Stylish, Brew Timer, Filter Reminder
Cons: 6oz Hot Water Only

Hi Coffee critic, You can change the strength of your cup. Once the pack has been inserted, you will see the STRONG option in the bottom left corner of the brewer screen. Please check the empty box by touching the icon. You have now activated the STRONG functionality of the brewer. We made the hot water feature that way on the K550 brewer during the development process. We will certainly share your feedback with the product engineering team.

Just bought this Keurig about a week ago, and I just love it. It is so quick to make a cup of any beverage and I enjoy the hot water on demand feature that way I can still use my favorite tea bags. In addition, I really enjoy that I can change the wallpaper and water reservoir colors. This option makes using my Keurig so fun.
