K550 + School Mornings = Easier!

The addition of the Keurig K550 has actually made school mornings a little less hectic around our house! It is so easy to use that our nine year-old son now makes his very own hot chocolate, or caramel apple cider each morning! He feels so independent, and my husband and I feel a little less stress trying to get out of the house on a busy school morning. Plus, the K550's quick brewing allows each of us to enjoy a cup of our favorite Italian or French roast as well. We love our Keurig K550 so much that we bought the Keurig Rivo and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Just about everything I expected from Keurig. The only thing I miss from my older model is the ability to brew a 12oz. cup.

I use this brewer morning, noon and night. It brews a wonderful, hot cup of coffee quickly and there are so many varieties of coffees to choose from. I do wish the carafe was bigger and that there were more varieties of k-carafe cups available. The machine is easy to clean and I love the digital screen that keeps me aware of the maintenance. Once you clear your old stock of K Cups out, and pay CLOSE attention to the new ones you buy to make sure they are compatible, then it is a great machine.
Pros: Brews quickly, Easy to use, Much Quieter Than Old Ones, Multiple Settings

My New Keurig 2.0 K550

Thanks Keurig for the free packs for writing this review. 80 oz water reservoir is nice. The water filter holder broke the first time I used it, its fragile. Customer service is sending me a new one - no hassle. You can brew a full pot of coffee, but the carafe it comes with is cheap plastic that doesn't keep the coffee hot. You can't use a different carafe due to magnet activation in the custom carafe it comes with. Four different lighting options is cool. Touch screen is convenient and easy to operate. Coffee always comes out great and I love the strength setting where you can make it stronger.
