Too pricey machine

I use the product everyday with two other people. The machine is not that great and is over price. Most of the time it does not dispense the entire amount selected especially with the hot water feature. You can only use the new kcup in this machine which means you are not able to try flavors outside the brand.
Pros: Large Pot, Stylish, Easy to clean
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Limited Features, Long Brew Time, No 6oz Of Hot Water, Loud
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Frustrated Coffee Drinker , The My K-Cup accessory and other reusable filters are not compatible with Keurig 2.0 Brewing Technology because the brewer has no way of determining what beverage is being used or how much coffee is being added, and therefore cannot adjust to factors such as brew strength and amount of water, which could represent a safety concern. Because of this, the system will not brew unlicensed packs. To ease the transition to 2.0, please call our Customer Care team at 866-901-2739.

BEST COFFE MAKER I HAVE EVER OWNED

I received my new Keurig K550 Brewing System for Christmas 2014. Since having it I can honestly say it is the best coffee maker I have ever owned. I love the increased water capacity as I was always having to refill my previous model . I especially love the new carafe and the ability to make a whole pot at once plus the convenience of being able to brew one cup at a time. I would recommend the K550 model to everyone. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.
Pros: Durable, Brews quickly, Multiple Settings, Easy to clean, Large Pot, Stylish, Easy to use

Satisfied Overall

I also own the Keurig K75, but took that one to work when I started a new office job. Decided I wanted the new Keurig 2.0, which I got as a Christmas present. Overall, I do like it. I like the size of the reservoir, the new electronic touch display, the different background and color light options and the night light feature. Though, even with all the new options available, they took away the ability to set the temperature of the brewed beverages, which the K75 had. Like many others, I am disappointed that they have made it almost impossible to use anything but the newest K-cups in this system (unless you are willing to do some cutting and pasting). A middling annoyance is that the filter pack is more difficult to install into the holder. I would say the biggest con for me though, is that there are much fewer cup size options compared to the K75 (the largest cup on the 2.0 being only 10oz), so to get my regular cup I need to brew it twice on 2 different sizes. The carafe is not an option for me in this regard, as they don't have any of my preferred flavor (hazelnut) in the K-Carafe packs. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review!
Pros: Brews quickly, Stylish, Easy to use, Large Pot, Multiple Settings
Cons: Limited Features, No temperature control, Limted Cup Sizes

We're Liking Our Keurig K550

We bought our Keurig a few months ago during the holiday season. I was skeptical, but my husband was very interested so we purchased one. I was surprised to see that I ended up loving it! The smell of fresh brewed coffee is great. We bought some smaller 4-packs online from keurig.com to test out some other drink options without committing to a whole box - that was nice. We don't really utilize the large carafe feature much - although it seemed like the coffee was not as hot when made in that method. The online collage k-cup holder that we bought on keurig.com is very contemporary looking and adds a nice look to our countertops. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.
Pros: Stylish, Brews quickly, Easy to use, Multiple Settings
Cons: Carafe Coffee Not As Hot

I had problems with brewing the carafe. We have well water & have always used bottled water for my previous Keurig's. After many attempts & calls to Keurig, I googled this problem "AddWater" I found out the water I was using was too clean . Thank You Keurig for the free packs for this review
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings, Large Pot
Cons: Loud, Unable To Use All K-cups, Complicated Controls

Hi Sue W, We recommend using bottled or filtered water in your Keurig brewer. Coffee and tea are over 98% water so quality drinking water is necessary for a good coffee, tea or iced beverage. Never use softened water because sodium ions in softened water form a gelatinous mass around the coffee grounds and tea leaves, slowing down the extraction process and causing over-extraction. This can also clog your brewer.

I purchased this Kuerig 2.0 for my 84 year old mother who was having a hard time filling her standard coffee maker. This product is easy for her to use. She also likes that she can use the carafe when the ladies come for cards. Thanks, Kuerig, for the free packs for this review!
