Every night, I used to get a pot ready and set the timer to brew the next morning. Then after everyone finished their coffee, it all had to be cleaned to get ready for another night's ritual. Sometimes I just didn't feel like the monotony. Now with my Keurig Brewing System, there is nothing to prepare! In the morning I can pop in a K-Cup, and push a button. No more measuring, no nasty grounds to deal with...I love the freedom it gives me! And Keurig is constantly making discounts available to me! Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review. This company is fantastic!

Love my keurig brewer, only issues are the clock keeps gaining time no matter how often it is reset, and not much variety on dark roasts for the carafe packs, not an option to make them stronger. Was a very good investment. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

Great control panel and user interface. Love that you can brew a caraffe and stronger cups of coffee. It brews a little louder than the original model, but it is negligible compared to the perks offered with the 2.0 system. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

K550 2.0 is a Very Good Brewer

I purchased this brewer in December '14 directly from Keurig. It is a big machine when you first take it out of the box, but doesn't seem as big once on your countertop. I use the brewer everyday and Coffee is all I drink all day until dinner time. Brewer is easy to use but good idea to read instructions. Coffee could be a little hotter, but Coffee isn't meant to be left in a cup for a long time. Water Reservoir is plastic and is hard to grasp when cleaning with soap & water. I broke a small piece on the bottom. It was difficult to get water filter attached to filter piece inside water reservoir. I broke the plastic assembly trying to get the filter seated, But Keurig was great about it and sent a new assembly for free. The biggest complaint is the brewer has a sensor that prohibits non-Keurig K-Cups from being brewed. I feel that if you pay for a machine it's yours to brew whatever Coffee you want Keurig or otherwise. Besides that, it is a great brewer and Keurig has a great selection of K-Cups, I find I buy more Coffee than I need. If you do the research you can find Keurig sanctioned K-Cups for a reasonable price. I don't know enough about the other Brewers to say if this is better than other Keurig brewers but I really like the K-550 (it's their top of the line) brewer. They give you a Carafe to brew 4 cups of Coffee at once but I don't think it keeps Coffee as hot as long as it should. If you only pour 2 cups at first, the Coffee will be room temperature by the time you're ready for more. But like I said I love the machine, I have no regrets owning it. If you do buy a brewer check out their Keurig Choice program. Thank you Keurig for the free packs for this review.

Bought the brewer in November. Been using it every day for the last three months. Love the strong brew option. Makes a great cup of coffee. Also love the larger water reservoir.
