I love this maker, especially the STRONG setting! I wish it were easier to use your own coffee... There is a way to rig it so you can, but think it should be made available... Highly recommend this machine.

Great Brewer. Descaling takes too long. Doesn't accept old keurig k cups or the ground coffee like the others did.

My wife and I drink very different coffees and we have struggled with satisfying our individual tastes. With our Keurig that is no longer a problem. We had one years ago and changed, but we're back and enjoying it more than before.

I bought my brewer three months ago. I am currently on my second brewer. My first brewer had issues with the clock running fast and an inconsistent cup size. When I would select the 10 ounce cup size I would get anywhere between 2 and 10 ounces of coffee. Keurig's customer service was great. They sent me a replacement brewer when I told them what it was doing. My new brewer doesn't have any of the same issues as the first. Guess I just ended up with a bad one to begin with. I wish that Keurig would have advertised that the 2.0 would be compatible with Vue packs along with K-cups. I think that would of made the brewer more appealing. I almost returned mine for a Vue brewer when I started to have issues. Overall I think the 2.0 is good for everyday use but it wasn't designed with the same quality as the their previous brewers were. It feels almost poorly made. Also, the pot of coffee that it brews is rather small. When I brew the 5 cup pot I get slightly more than 2 cups out of it. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

I used to hate having to brew a full pot and have it sit there "cooking" away the flavor of my coffee through the morning. This machine gives me a hot cup at a time, in less than a minute and lets me change flavors, varieties instantly with no waste. I am still surprised (even after about five years of using Keurig brewers) that the taste of the brew is so good...how do you get a great cup of coffee out of such a little prackage?! I probably didn't need all the bells and whistles you find on the 550 but now that I have it, I appreciate the night light, the touch screen control panel with selectable options and especially the timer: I set the brewer to heat up at 5:30AM so it's ready to go when I get into the kitchen. I usually have had my last cup by 1:30 (after making an iced tea for lunch) and the timer shuts the machine down for the day then. It's easy to wake the 550 up later in the day if I need it too--you just punch the on button and in about 30 seconds, it's ready to go again. I'm totally hooked!
