This is our third Keurig and so far this is my favorite. My husband and I use it every day and because he drinks regular and I drink decaf, it is perfect for us. And when the whole family is here for a gathering, the carafe is perfect. I especially like the "strong" button which increases the flavor of the coffee. I highly recommend this brewer and would definitely buy it again. "Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review."

I have owned a Keurig "Special Edition" since 2008 and loved it. Eventually it needed to be replaced and I looked toward the 550. I am in love with it! I use it everyday and have had no issues with it in 6 months. I have no problem with the new technology that reads only Keurig brand K-Cups as I usually only buy my K-cups from keurig.com. I only have two gripes: 1-In 2015 all k-cups should be recycleable. 2-There should be an exact temperature setting on the unit. I like my coffee piping hot while my wife likes hers drinkable right after brew. Regardless, it's a great brewer and I love it! "Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review."

The K550 is very easy to use and has many cup sizes. The down side is that it takes longer to brew the coffee. The carafe is great to have for multiple servings but I wish it was insulated better to keep the coffee hotter for longer. Overall, we are happy with our new purchase. I am extremely satisfied with the overall operation of my keurig. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't take all k cups. My husband likes other brands that cannot be used.

Don't Buy This Brewer!

I have had a Keurig since 2011 and have loved it. Because of that experience, I decided to upgrade to the new 2.0 model where I can brew coffee by the cup and pot. The first 2.0 I received never worked right out of the box. Keurig sent me out a second unit right away, which was great customer service. However, the second unit only worked ONE TIME!! I got to brew one cup of coffee - that's it! Now they are sending me a THIRD unit. I no longer see simply replacing a broken unit (which Keurig SHOULD replace for sending me damaged goods) as good customer service. This is the THIRD one and Keurig couldn't even offer free coffee, or something for the inconvenience?! Because this is the third unit they are sending me, I also have to send back the entire 2nd broken unit - not just the k-cup holder. Yes, Keurig is sending me a prepaid shipping label, but I have the inconvenience of taking the big box somewhere to be shipped! It just seems to me when a company has provided such poor quality products to a customer they would be a little more concerned about making this process as convenient for their customer as possible. They are not demonstrating any concern whatsoever about the inconvenience I have already endured by going through THREE brewers since February 11, and I haven't had one satisfactory cup of coffee YET!! I am no longer a Keurig fan and will never recommend their products again!

I have hot lemon water to start the day and about 3 cups of green tea daily. Heats quickly and brews quickly. Love my machine.
