I love the new options and the carafe feature. I upgraded from the old Keurig and its amazing! I used to have a "back up" coffee pot for family visits, but now with have the carafe or single cup features its perfect. The auto on/brew are also handy features.
Pros: Brews quickly, Multiple Settings, Easy to clean, Easy to use, Large Pot

I use this brewer at least once a day. It is particularly useful for my morning coffe before work, as I'm usually rushing but still have time to make my coffee. The machine looks great on my counter, but unfortunately I placed it next to the wall and recently noticed that there was coffee splattered on the wall. I've had this brewer for about 3 months now and my only complaint is the coffee splatter. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.
Pros: Large Pot, Brews quickly, Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Stylish
Cons: Coffe Splatters A Little

Upgraded brewer

I had a Keurig B75 Platinum prior to upgrading to this brewer and I really loved it. Even though it still had a little life left in it, I couldn't resist a shiny new Keurig toy. Things I love compared to the old brewer: the touchscreen is easy to use and makes customizing your brew temp/size easier, the size of the water reservoir is larger so I don't have to refill it as much, and the hot water on demand is pretty cool for those instant soup cups and the like. I also like that there is a water filter built in so potentially I won't have to worry about "de-scaling" as much, which was a hassle with my old brewer, especially as it got older. Things that maybe aren't so great about the new brewer: The space to fit the cup isn't as tall. I actually use my Keurig for brew over ice 90% of the time and with the B75 I could fit my glass without have to remove the drip tray, but with the K550, I might as well put the drip tray away because I need that extra space every day. The carafe function is neat, but the plastic carafe does nothing to keep a hot beverage hot; so unless you're going to serve the whole thing right away (and really, then what's the point?) it's going to get cold. I wish either the pot was insulated better, or there was a little warming thing it could sit on. The thing I really hate about this brewer, though, is the barcode reader that prevents the machine from using store brand Kcups. I'm sure Keurig knows by now it would make a lot of customers MUCH happier by fixing that issue. Finally I'll add: The colored light in the water reservoir is cool, but not necessary. Ditto the "wallpapers" on the touchscreen. Those shouldn't be selling points. All in all I'm happy I upgraded because it has the same functionality as my old brewer plus a little more; and it looks prettier on my counter. But there is also a lot of room for improvement here for Keurig.
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Brews quickly
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Can't Use Storebrand Kcup

"Hi Sandra, thanks for sharing with us your thoughts . The starter carafe included with our Keurig 2.0 brewers is a great solution for those looking to brew a four-cup carafe to enjoy either large travel mug sizes or to share when entertaining with friends and family. While the included carafe is not insulated, we have introduced the Keurig 2.0 Thermal Carafe, which retains an optimum beverage temperature for at least an hour. This sturdy, stainless steel carafe is vacuum-insulated and double-walled, so your last cup can be as delicious as your first. You can purchase the new Keurig 2.0 Thermal Carafe for $29.99 on Keurig.com and at select retailers. The My K-Cup accessory and other reusable filters are not compatible with Keurig 2.0 Brewing Technology because the brewer has no way of determining what beverage is being used or how much coffee is being added, and therefore cannot adjust to factors such as brew strength and amount of water, which could represent a safety concern. Because of this, the system will not brew unlicensed packs. To ease the transition to 2.0, please call our Customer Care team at 866-901-2739."

We use the Keurig all the time. This is my fourth Keurig purchase. I love not only the cup selection sizes but you can also change the strength of your coffee or tea. The touch screen makes it all so easy to use, especially for my elderly date. the screen is also nice and bright. The hot water feature is great! Just wish you could get more than 6oz. I would give this a great review even if I wasn't receiving 2 free boxes of Keurig Kcup coffee
Pros: Easy to use, Brews quickly, Multiple Settings, Large Pot, Great Hot Water Feature
Cons: Loud

I switch back and forth between the Vue and K-Cups. Easy to use and gives me so many alternatives to brewing (strength, amount, etc.) I ordered the stell carafe because it is better than the plastic carafe that comes with the unit. Great service from Keurig. In fact, I bought one for my grandaughter to replace her older Keurig.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to clean, Easy to use, Stylish, Large Pot, Brews quickly
